Works like a charm. Used it since I got it with an iPad Pro 3rd gen and never had an issue before!

Apple did not manufacture this product to be compatible with wired headphones that have a microphone. It only has the two rings inside the 3.5mm port so fifer using it with any headphones that have mic support.

I picked up the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter from Best Buy recently, and honestly, it’s been super handy. I still use my wired headphones sometimes, and this adapter makes it really easy to plug them into my phone without any issues.
The sound quality is great no weird noise or drops and it feels solid for something so tiny. I’ve used cheaper ones before that stopped working after a few weeks, but this one definitely feels more reliable.
It’s small enough to keep in my pocket or bag, and I like that it just works right away without needing to mess with settings. A bit pricey for such a small thing, but the quality makes up for it.
If you’re someone who still prefers wired headphones or needs to connect to a speaker, this is a must
have. Simple, well-made, and does exactly what it should.

I use this adapter with headphones on my Samsung Galaxy S25 to listen to music and it sounds great. Note that the volume can be slightly reduced when compared to other brands of USB-C to 3.5mm adapters, but this doesn't affect the sound quality (to my ears, anyway).

I recently picked up the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter, and it has been a fantastic addition to my tech setup. This small but essential accessory allows me to connect my wired headphones to my USB-C devices without any hassle, and it works perfectly.
The build quality is classic Apple—sleek, durable, and compact. It fits snugly into my device without any loose connections, and I love that it’s lightweight enough to throw into my bag without taking up much space. The audio quality is superb, with no loss in sound clarity or performance. Whether I’m listening to music, watching videos, or making calls, the connection is seamless and stable.
What I appreciate most is how easy it is to use—just plug it in, and it works right away. No drivers, no setup, just pure plug-and-play convenience. It's especially great for when I want to use my high-quality wired headphones with my newer USB-C devices, like my MacBook or iPad.
Overall, the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm Adapter is a reliable, well-designed solution for anyone needing to bridge the gap between USB-C and traditional audio gear. Highly recommended for those who want high-quality audio on their USB-C devices!

I bought this USB-C to 3.5mm Adapter a week ago and I was satisfied with the performance of the adapter. Worked wonderfully with an iPad Pro I borrowed for a little bit and found it able to output high volumes on regular earbuds, with the volume slider somewhere in the middle. Pretty much on par with the Lightning equivalent adapter that apple sells. Build quality is the same as the Lightning counterpart so no complaints there.
However, the story somewhat changes when you use this on Android devices. It's still a really good adapter, however don't expect to get the volume too high, even with the slider maxxed out. Even with regular earbuds, I found that I had to crank the slider up to get relatively the same volume as the iPad, so much so that I had to go past the device's volume slider warning about loud sounds. Using this in my car's aux cord, I found that I maxxed out both the radio and slider and it wasn't loud enough, as in that you can still hear the road noise over your own music.
Doing a bit of research, it does seem to be a universal issue with this adapter and Android devices, as the software in Android is not able to communicate with the adapter to output higher voltage to further increase the volume.
In short, I recommend these if you are in the Apple Ecosystem as these will function wonderfully and pretty much will beat out Google's and Samsung's adapters, as some tests can be found on sounds quality comparison's through Google. If you plan on using these for Android's, I wouldn't 100% recommend these as the volume doesn't get loud enough. That being said, these are still usable as an adapter, but they aren't for me and I will most likely be exchanging these for Samsung's adapter as they are the next best thing from the sound quality comparison's I mentioned earlier.

In my experience, Apple - USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter - White is an excellent design and manufactured using high quality materials. The $9 price to value proposition is very compelling. In my experience, this is a great travel item. In my experience, Apple is consistent in bringing awesome designs that are well executed in form and functionality, utility and performance.

This adapter works great. I bought 2 of them on separate occasions & they both work as they are meant to do with no issues. The USB-C end plugs firmly into the applicable device with my case on the device. The 3.55mm headphone jack snaps firmly into the other end making it a solid connection. I use it for my Bose 3.55mm earphones when I do not want to use Bluetooth with my AirPods Pro 2 to save on my iPhone 17 Pro Max battery. Excellent value for the low price.

Works seamlessly with my Apple devices. The sound quality is crisp and consistent, with no distortion. Despite its compact size, the build feels durable. Perfect for anyone who still prefers wired headphones or needs to connect to audio systems.

Two good uses: Don't have to worry about Bluetooth earbuds falling out and getting lost; other is that I don't have to worry about pairing. Something that allows a wired alternative is very welcome. This does the job excellently

I bought this attachment in 2021 and it still works great in September 2023! It allowed me to attach my headset onto my PC and laptop with ease, and my computers read the extension easily and made switching between audio inputs easier.

the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter is a fantastic product for its intended use. If you're an Apple user looking to connect your wired headphones to a modern USB-C device, this is arguably the best and most cost-effective option available. For Android users, the experience can be hit or miss, but its excellent sound quality still makes it a compelling choice if you're willing to work around the potential volume limitations.
It does its job well, and for the price, it's a solid investment for anyone who values high-quality, wired audio.

Great DAC. It works perfectly on Apple devices, but the volume is halved on Android, so to fix this, you will need to install an app that allows you to control the system volume and get it back up to where it should be. And I'd recommend simply another dongle for Android devices. But if you're using an Apple device, it is as simple as plugging it into the USB-C port, and then you're done.

You can't beat the price or the sound quality on these Apple dongles. If you think you need a dedicated DAC for your phone, this little thing will likely sound better than most sub-$100 DACs out there if you're not looking for extra power to drive huge fancy cans.
