straight forward but makes using wired earbuds easy to use with ipad/phone/other usbc devices. comes in handy when the airplane does not have any screens and I only had wired headphones with me

It works perfect with my aux cord. I have yet to try with earphones.

I like the small form factor of this USB to 3.5MM adapter for my Windows laptop. I use it because the DAC inside the apple dongle is way better than the built-in one in my laptop. Clear audio comes through the super tiny DAC inside the apple enclosure located near the USB connection on this item. Only con I have is when connecting this to a USB C connector on an android phone the audio levels are low compared to the google 3.5mm dongle, but for windows laptops with terrible DACs I would recommend this.

I would say this product is what you would expect from Apple . Simple and easy to use .

Yes, everyone is currently using wireless headphones is all the latest trend. But, a lots us have great wired headphones that sound great and this USB C to 3.5mm adapter works great.
