Apple chargers are worth the money due to the fact that a non-apple charger will eventually destroy your battery life aswell as tamper your phones ability to work over a PROLONGED usage not the occasional use. Although I do own apple certified cords that are not made by apple I do make sure my phone and iPad is charged with apple brand cords due to the fact I have experienced battery decrease and even extreme phone errors making it impossible to function PRO- apple certified prolongs battery life , always synchs , apple warranty and sleek look CON- more expensive than some competitors that of the same quality YET some off brand cords are more expensive than this The cable outer white layer peels off over time depending on users care of the cord

Apple cords are the longest lasting and always charge my iPhone better then those cheep cords that you can purchase as an impulse item at the cash register of your favorite store or pharmacy. Worth the extra $$

There are a lot of knock off charging cords out there, but the Apple ones work the best for us. Wouldn't buy another brand.

I found my old iPod recently and nostalgia got the better of me. I wanted to know what I had on there, so I went out and got a charge cable for it. This is an official Apple product, so you know it'll work.

Purchased this cable to replace another after market, i.e., not Apple cable. The new cable clearly provides superior connection as the charging rate far exceeds that experienced with the non Apple cable.

Simply put im tired of buying the cheaper cables that don't work or break soon after I purchase them. I know Best Buy has what I need and I get reward points for my purchases. It's a win win deal.

We needed an extra USB adapter and Best Buy had plenty in stock. Simple item and works with my Iphone and Ipad.

This critic is for all cable connecting to Apple devices...iPad, laptop iPhone etc. they are well designed but the fabrication is not a great quality. These connectors have to be replaced often and are priced too high for the quality.

My wife needed this part for her Ipad which she uses everyday. Saw the item in the store and asked to purchase and it was a good price. Added it to the other items purchased that day.

I have an iPad with a 30 prong charger. The one that came with the iPad wore out so I needed a new one. This is just what I needed. I hope they continue to carry these in the stores.

I bought a "non factory" cable and it broke after using it a few times. That is why I will always buy original cables from Apple. This Apple cable was bought for a spare to keep in my car.

This was a replacement cable for the IPad. Tried off name brands at a cheaper price but they don't last. Better to stick with product that's made by the manufacturer. In this case Apple.

My fiancee's charging cable had worn out--the cable had frayed where it inserts into the plug. This was the quickest and easiest fix.

Apple never fails to generate new ideas for its product. This is one of those items, which need to be stocked up on, if one gives out. The warranty is fair. However, it the warranty expires, a backup is needed. I just wish the value would go down, although Apple products are worth their price.
