I recommend using the Apple version of these USB adapters. While other after market versions may be less costly, they will not last near as long as the OEM one and could also cause connection problems when using them as well as Shorts on the device due to cheap cabling.

What else can you expect when you buy an apple replacement charger. Works well just pricey

Easy to connect with my iPad. Good, solid contact. No slippage. Could be a little longer for easier use while reading in bed late at night when the battery is almost gone. Would be helpful if the logo was a different color so it was easier to tell which way is up.

I had a radio installed in my RV and it needed a USB cord to attach my iPod to it. I wanted a genuine Apple product, so bought this so I can listen to my iPod thru the radio. I wish they made a shorter one, since I only needed it to be about 12" long, but it works.

This product has been very enjoyable, as it charges the kindle extremely fast. It also continues to charge quickly even while in use. I would defiantly buy this again and have done so for the grandchildren. The best charger I have found for the price.

Can't go wrong with OEM. Had to replace the original for my iPad, which lasted nearly 5 years. I expect that this replacement will outlive the iPad itself, as my wife is looking to upgrade to a newer model in the next year or so.

I bought this cable after looking throughout out the store. I initially looked up front with the phone accessories, but after getting help from an employee I found it in the back with the Apple products. Works as advertised.

I had to buy this apple USB adapter as a replacement to my old one for my iPod touch 4. I am hesitant to buy another brand besides apple for apple products. It works well. It charges the iPod quickly and without any problems.

The old cord had worn down, replaced it, and it works great.

This was a replacement USB Cable for an iPad 2nd Generation. The cable works fine. It's still a little pricey from Apple for an old charger considering they mainly use the Lightning Chargers now, but you get what you pay for.

I originally purchased a replacement cable at a local dept. store and it didn't last 3 mos.! Don't go cheap! Buy the manufacturer's brand! It will last and you'll always be satisfied with it's performance.

Bought this cord for my daughter's iPad! She has had her iPad for 3 years and finally needed a new charger. This one charges her iPad as if the iPad was brand new! Quick and easy for her to use.

Although this is an excellent product compared to other off brands, they have a tendency to only last a few months if you use it daily for multiple devices. The cable frays near the adapter leaving the wires exposed. They are expensive compared to others, but others are not up to par with apple adapter.

I bought this OEM adapter/charger because a cheap one I brought never worked right, and when it did work, took forever to charge. I expect this will last as long as my iPad is still functional...

The product works very well. We had purchased items from other retailers online and they were below par or faulty in some way. Here, the item was completely functional and was quite reliable.

Tried the cheaper chargers but they burn out much faster then the apple charger. I feel it's worth the extra money , since it will last longer, and therefore may actually provide better value.

I am a long time Apple user and love the products. They may not be the first to have things but they get it right. I believe the replacement costs are lower by having a separate cord and plug in. I think these cords are a little pricey but they are designed by Apple to go with their products.

Previous cable cover eventually split and with the flexing that goes on the internal bare wires were visible through the split. I expected some arcing to happen so replaced the cable. This cable looks exactly like the prior one and would expect it will last as long: several years.
