Got this as a present for my dad who is a huge techy. He absolutely loves it. There is a lot of content for the watch and it does what it's supposed to really well. He is constantly in meetings and consistently tells me how convenient it is to get notifications from the watch and not have to pull out his phone. The watch is great, easy to navigate and Siri is really fantastic. If you're looking for a smart watch, this is definitely the way to go, nothing better out there. If you're looking for an activity band, this watch comes up a bit short. The fitness app is cool, but sometimes gives inaccurate readings (I know it's not going to be perfect but it needs to be better). Also, the watch does not do sleep tracking which I think is a huge gap. I know they are developing apps for the watch consistently so this should be available soon enough but it is kind of a let down that it isn't available currently. All in all a great product though and the nicest part is that it can expand whereas most other smart watches are just going to be the same from day one.

Watch has really grown on me. Mirrors my phone notifications but also offers health, messaging and quick news access. Milanese band is comfortable, with minor tightening throughout the day, but cannot fall off my wrist. Being stainless steel I am not concerned about getting splashed and am convinced that the watch itself is mostly waterproof, since I've splashed it a few times and read that some are swimming with it on. Overall there was some concern that I shouldn't early adopt, but feel the heartbeat sensor, Apple Pay, and ease of use make it a worthy investment. If you're in the apple-verse and want a watch and health monitor with all the extras, consider at least trying it out!

I paid more money for the better quality watch. If I was going to buy the Apple Watch I wanted to spend the money for the quality. Yes it is pricey but quality of material is excellent. Looks very nice. The iWatch IOS is good and has the features you would expect from Apple. I own the original Samsung Gear S watch and compared to that the quality is better on the Apple but the biggest con to me on the iWatch is the lack of watch faces. Apple doesn't have any faces that make the watch look like a "luxury" style watch already loaded onto the IOS. Maybe in time.

I gave up on fitness bands that kept dying on me and got one on Black Friday. Been pleasantly surprised with it so far. It is comfortable, stylish and very functional! Love the flexibility of set-up options and versatility. Like it so much I bought my wife one for Christmas! Now we send heartbeats and other little notes to each other all day during work! Buy one you'll love it...

Haven't gotten to use all the features yet but I love the different watch faces and the ease of use. If you have an I Phone - you already know how to use it. I bought the larger size - I think the smaller one would be too small for emails. Siri works very good also. Great for business meetings where you can't have a phone.

After tons of research and reading review after review, I took the plunge to purchase the Apple Watch and I could not be happier. Especially since you can now get the black stainless with the sport band. It does even more than I even knew it would. If you want the convenience of getting all your notifications with the ability to respond and a great fitness tool along with versatile style then you need to buy one of these. I truly love mine.

So i returned my black stainless steel watch for this one with the milanese band. It is amazing, loved the magnetic feature of the band and the look of the silver stainless steel. For me i like the weight rather then light like a feather. As in my other review the watch does what it is suppose to and has a lot of neat little feature. That being said i did end up returning my watch because for the price after wearing it for over 1 week i just couldn't find the justification for spending almost 800 on a watch. Not at this point in my life. The watch was great and i would recommend to someone that is able to spend that type of money and not feel it in their pocket. Because with the neat features and all, it still boils down to just a watch, so maybe until the next gen comes out.

I purchased my Apple Watch as an early birthday present for myself. Having used it now for a good month and half, i can honestly say that i love my Apple Watch. It's constantly surprising me with how intuitive it's features are. It's great for never missing a phone call, reading texts on the fly, and does a really good job of tracking your daily fitness. The only drawback, and i mean only one, is that the watch isn't waterproof. That aside, this watch is really and truly the best thing one could get if you already own an iPhone.

I was hesitant at first of purchasing the apple watch but after making the plunge I'm now satisfied! The battery lasts me all day which was one of my biggest concerns with my purchase. It keeps track of all my movements and steps, notifies me when I'm docile too long, but best of all notifies me of texts AND calls when I'm not near my iPhone.

This band that comes with this watch is stunning and easy to use. My only complain is that the Milanese Loop does not come in black. If you are teetering on the idea of getting this version of the watch I say go for it. The battery life last a whole day with normal use. I am curious to see what they do for the second edition of the watch. I really like that I can load music on it and take just the watch with me to the gym so I am not disturbed. I like MUCH more that I planned.

I was a little unsure going into this purchase, as I'm not normally a watch wearer. I have grown to love it though. It was about the easiest device I've ever set up. It was simple to sync it to my iPhone and works nearly flawlessly. I like that Apple created a store within the watch app which only shows apps that have watch versions. I've downloaded several new apps which prove very useful. I also like the notifications I recieve, especially text messages. I highly recommend!

The Apple watch is fantastic! At first glance I thought the watch looked big and bulky and would just get in the way but after a month of wearing, I find it to be very sleek and comfortable, compared to the Fitbit (Charge) that I'm currently using as well. The fitness app is bright and clear and accurate while running, day or night. With a flick of the wrist the time can be viewed and clearly read. The phone, text, and email are very convenient for communication with others. Thanks Apple! Good deal & purchased from Best Buy.

pleasantly surprised w/ how great this really is! Can be a little intimidating at first but once you play around with it and get accustomed to it all, it's very user-friendly. Love that you can take free classes to familiarize yourself with this item. A definite must-have for people who can't pull out their phones each time a call or text is received.

    Useful device that's not "essential."

My wife gave me an Apple Watch for Christmas, in large part because she couldn't think of anything else other than the new Springsteen boxed set (she gave me that too). I've had it for about a month now. So I've barely scratched the surface in terms of what it does. It's an interesting device that is by no means essential to one's life. At work, due to our e-mail setup (using office e-mail for personal stuff is grounds for termination) it's nice to have my watch telling me when family members are e-mailing or sending a text message. I set it so the watch only notifies me of "VIP" contacts because otherwise it'd ding constantly due to spam and the like. Doing it this way is far less obvious than having your mobile phone out on your desk. It also dings when I have an upcoming item on my calendar, so that's helpful. In terms of the fitness tracking, I don't get nearly enough exercise and so far I've been liking the way the watch tracks your movement and activity and sets you a daily goal. On my commute I can either ride the subway to a stop near the office and walk two blocks or ride a different line and walk about .7 of a mile (or on Fridays, we drive and I walk from my wife's office, about a mile each way). Since I've gotten the watch I've started doing the longer walk more often. This sounds cheesy, but having the thing giving me a goal to reach makes me more likely to want to do that walk than if I just have an abstract sense of "I need more exercise." I find it easier to make myself get up and do something when I have something tracking my progress than when I just have an amorphous goal of "go for a walk." The other thing that's interesting is to see how far you walk just moving around cleaning the house on the weekend, going up and down the stairs and such. Of course, none of those features, other than maybe the e-mail, text message, and calendar integration, is unique to the Apple Watch. I'm sure there are other devices that have the e-mail/etc. integration and obviously which one makes sense if you want that depends on what platform you already use for your phone and such. I don't have a valid point of comparison against other devices, and obviously the fact that I received it as a present moots the price issue for me (I did buy a second band for $150 and I really like it, the "Milanese Loop"). But after living with this sort of device for a month now, I have to say it's a useful class of device depending on your lifestyle and your needs. The conundrum is what to do as to nice watches one already have. I had five watches. I've taken to wearing the Apple Watch on my left wrist and one of the others on my right wrist depending on what kind of shirt I'm wearing (different cuffs don't always fit certain watches well). Going to be interesting wearing the Apple Watch while clearing snow this weekend!

Being the Apple product fanatic I am, I finally took the plunge and picked up my Apple watch. I am sorry I waited so long! It is amazing! Very versatile for any situation. The band looks pretty snazzy, but is not pretentious in a work or play environment. Plus, switching the bands is childs play! The watch itself does everything I wanted and more. I was tired of always having to pull my phone out to see what time it was, so there's one check marked. Then also, now I don't have to pull my phone out in awkward situations to see who is texting or messaging me. Plus, I can also see who is calling to determine if I need to take that call right away, or can send it to voice mail, all without pulling my phone out! It tracks my daily steps and calories pretty well, although I must say I haven't checked it against any other pedometer as of yet. The heart beat function is pretty nice, I can tell when I'm a bit more riled than I need to be and tell my self to breathe a bit slower and calm myself. Not so good for phone calls, the sound is tinny thru the watch, but maybe okay in a pinch. Overall, I'd highly recommend it to anyone to extend the capabilities of their iPhone!

I checked this out on line before I bought it and am not disappointed. I especially like being able to switch between the classy stainless band and the black rubber band when I go to work out. The notices and reminders I receive, along with short descriptions of email coming in are more useful than I would have thought. It's nice to just look down at my wrist when messages come in.

This is a great buy! I love the design and size of it. Will go perfectly with anything. I love he fact that it's water resistant (it's raining out today and I didn't even have to worry about taking it off while walking to the car). It has a great weight to it and it's just a BEAUTIFUL watch. I purchased the space black and it is amazing. Get this you will love it! Happy shopping!!

I would recommend for many people to buy the black 42mm space black Apple Watch because of how elegant and luxurious it looks. The design is very lightweight, and yet it performs with ease. I have been using the watch for a few months now with my iPhone 6 Plus and it simply performs in perfection.

Being a wristwatch fan has it's perks, with this very cool product from Apple. It has additional features such as the motion emoticons, and you can make calls with ease with this watch. It's stylish, yet not obnoxious.... very durable, and adds enjoyment to an Apple iPhone 5, or newer.
