It gets warm but extremely convenient. Charges very quickly with Apple's 20 watt USB-C charger. Don't be cheap, just buy an Apple charger.

This is a high quality charger. I got it and keep it at home. The metal construction is very nice to look at. I keep the one that came with the watch at work and keep this nicer one on my dresser at home.

Great apple charger. I needed a short cable charger for my iPhone and this worked great. The length is perfect and works great with my car adapter too.

The original charger that came with my watch refuses to lay flat. This cable has a weighted back, and is MUCH easier to manage. My original cable is now in my dongle travel bag and I use this new one for home use.

An authentic Apple Watch charge cord. It has charged my Apple Watch without fail every single time, and quite speedy too. I’d probably splurge on the longer cord next time, but until I lose this cord, it’s a keeper.
