It's a completely sealed system free of exposed contacts. And it's very forgiving, requiring no precise alignment. You simply hold the connector near the back of the watch, where magnets cause it to snap into place automatically.

I love this new charging technic. Just lay down the watch & walk away. Suddenly you get "that" text message & you snatch it up & do the victory dance! No cord yanking out of the wall or the watch. You are home free to celebrate!!

Never thought I would love the Apple watch, but it certainly has worked out well for me. With that in mind, I purchased an extra Apple Watch charger to carry with me while traveling for business. It works great. Charges quickly.

Anyone who has an Apple Watch should have at least 3 of these. I bought the watch for my wife and she has one at home, one at work, and one in the car for backup and travel. Remember it doesn't come with the plug, it's just a cable.

I bought this because I wanted an extra charger for my Apple Watch to take with me when I travel. My original charger is secured to a docking station which means I would have to disassemble my docking station when I would be on the go.

It works as expected, perfect to keep at work should I forget to charge the watch at home. My only "negative" comment about the watch is that it basically needs to be charged every day - thus requiring an extra charger.

This is a genuine Apple product, so it costs and performs exactly as you would expect. I've had less than perfect experience with non-Apple branded charges and cables in the past, so I only purchase genuine Apple charges.
