I was thinking about just getting a cheap third party Apple Watch charger for my Series 8, but I heard horror stories about third party chargers melting and causing damage to the watch as well. This one is from Apple so you can expect the quality and compatibility with the Apple Watch. If paired with the Apple 20W charger, it charges my Apple Watch nearly to 100% in less than 30 mins. The cable quality is the same as the one that comes with the Apple Watch. Overall, I highly recommend this charger as it has not given me problems and it doesn’t overheats my Apple Watch. It does what it is advertised to do.

It works great for charging an Apple Watch Ultra. It takes 30 minutes to go from 50 to 100% charge with an Apple 30 watt USB C power adapter. This is just the USB C charging cable. You provide the USB C power adapter. You must use an USB C power adapter for fast charging.

I've used this as my mobile cable to charge with my power banks whenever I forget to charge my watch overnight. The construction is what you would expect from an Apple cable. I have not experienced any issues with any material degradation (ripping or discoloration) but I do have good cable management using a velcro cable wrap when on the go. I would recommend this for anyone that needs a replacement changing cable.

I'm using this, along with a MagSafe charger, on an Apple 35W dual port charger. It's performs exactly as expected, and having an extra magnetic fast charger means I can carry the spare with me in case my watch battery needs a quick boost.
