I am a first time Apple watch owner I waited for this one for some time. I wanted one that was water resistant and didn't rely on the phone all the time. Its fast I like that it keeps a record of your heart beat. The one thing is a pain though is that I wish you could turn off certain notifications at night time when you go to bed. Like the breath and the stand up one. if I'm sleeping all I want to be notified is if I get a call or a text. As for battery life I can get a good day and a half out of one charge. But all I do is ware it all day and night when I get in the shower put it on charge get dressed and grab it when I'm about to walk out the door. Its been always fully charged in that time frame.

This is probably the best purchase I made this year. I went though two Fitbits before deciding to up grade to the Apple Watch, I wish I had went with Apple in the beginning. The Apps are the bomb the functionality is surprising, I can talk on it like Jams Bond

This is the best watch I have ever owned. It does everything I need in a watch. This purchase was for a dear friend who admired my watch so I gave her one.

Apple's products are price, and probably aren't a compelling value proposition for most casual consumers. This watch does all of what my old bike computer did, allows me to move bike, walking and fitness data to my iPhone, and Mac seamlessly, answer my phone when the phone isn't handy, and more

Great tandem product to use with the IPhone. The guys at Mayfield Hts. Best Buy were able to locate what I wanted at another store so I wouldn't have to wait. I was able to pick it up that evening and the Geek Squad was so helpful setting it up and answering my questions.

Enjoying this watch so far...I like tracking my running & cycling, and while riding isn't a problem with cycling jersey pockets, running a few miles on trail or roadside with phone in hand was just getting to be a drag. I like music with my exercise, but of course I can't do that yet--I suppose I'll eventually spend (more) money for a bluetooth headphone unit. But the built in speaker had surprisingly decent clarity when I took my first Dick Tracey wrist call, leaving my iPhone in my pocket. The watch's connectivity with my iPhone is quite seamless, and its bluetooth range is also impressive. I was hoping to continue using Strava for my exercise stats, but Strava isn't quite ready for Series 2, so fortunately the Apple watch's native fitness tracker has substituted nicely for doing the same thing. (But sadly, for now, my Strava followers now can't see and give me kudos for my wimpy running achievements...) Could've gotten Any fitness tracker, of course, but the Apple watch does so much more, which many others have commented upon extensively and more knowledgeably. I'm still learning. (I'll also admit to brand loyalty to a degree, but just more the argument that it'll play nicely with my other Apple stuff, music collection, etc.) I will say the battery life (which had been a big concern for me based on looking at reviews before buying) has impressed me and is quite suitable for my needs thus far, and as I'm not on text and email extensively, and my various other tasks--I'm Not a heavy user--don't consume much power, I can go a couple of full days and still not drain it. Other users of course might burn through more power. It's fun for texting, and kinda fun getting the gentle little thump on the wrist...one thing I need to turn off, though, is the thump reminding me to breathe. When I'm 45 minutes behind in my clinic, and someone tells me to fall another minute behind, they can take their mindfulness and stick it where the...never mind. I'm looking forward to hiking with it tomorrow. The GPS feature was really a plus for me. The waterproofness won't hurt either. Though I'm not a swimmer, there's now absolutely No nervousness if the rainclouds threaten during my runs or rides.

When I initially purchased this watch I thought I would use it to track runs or bike rides only. However, since I've had it I've used it as my primary watch. Features that I initially thought were gimmicky (reading and texting from my watch, using Siri, navigation, etc.) are actually quite useful and not needing to take your phone out of your pocket to do these things is actually quite useful. Additionally, the fitness tracking features do a great job of making sure you stay aware of how much you're moving and exercising. This was something I initially thought I would only need for runs, but I now use it daily.

My dad got me this for Christmas. In school there is a no phone policy thing, so this watch helps me look at my messages across multiple apps, respond back to them in a cool way (which helps pass time in some classes), check the time, check the date, play/control music, check my heart rate, play games, remind me to breathe, look at pictures, manage my schedule, and much more. Also when your phone is dying you can just focus on using your watch to help save the little battery you have left until you get it charged. If you are a college student like me, this is something you will definitely be satisfied with. There is a silent mode that i always have on, so if your phone is on silent or ring in your bag, you can feel the vibration on your wrist and see who is calling and end the call without disturbing the class and if you want to you can answer on the watch. There are different things and apps that you can download to personalize the watch to make it reflect you. I have a language app that can translate verbal language into one you or another person can understand and it will speak out loud for you. Having an iPhone is required to pair it with. You can put a passcode on it that activates whenever it leaves your wrist, so your info will be safe. The nylon band and color is very nice and neutral with the gold and any outfit, I have recieved compliments and inquiries.

At first, didn't think there was a need for Apple Watch, but when I bought it I now can not live without it. Easy to manage. Great look. Activity app is great for when I work out, plus it is water proof.

The watch seems too expensive and probably is but you get what you pay for. This watch works flawlessly. Its the best thing on the market today. I love to use the gps for running and hiking. It is truly amazing. I got the bigger one thing I would like it a lot more but looking back i could definitely be just as happy with the 38mm. The apps on the watch are not entertaining so if you're looking for something to sit there and play on to keep you busy then this watch is not for you.

I got the new Apple Watch after reading good reviews on it. It is much faster than the 1st version, so it feels a lot more practical to use. The battery is also much better, and GPS is very accurate. Tried it on a run with m my Garmin 620 to compare and Apple was much more accurate. I've also taken it on bike rides and the GPS also works well there. The nylon band is also very nice and gets complimented quite a bit. However, it is not the greatest to take out running or sweating.

Very nice sleek design. I love that it is water resistant. Keeps great time and it's convenient for checking mail and messages.

I bought this for my boyfriend who is a police officer. It's perfect when it's raining and he's dealing with a call. He doesn't have to worry about the watch getting wet. The battery life is good, but he charges it every night just to be sure it's always working. It's easy for him to text on and the gps works well.

Love the size and the simplicity of using. Especially love the silent alarm!!

It’s basicslly the same as the series 3 GPS one, so why not save some bucks?

Apple Watch 2 is a great upgrade from Apple Watch 1. The waterproof upgrade is great for piece of mind. The GPS feature is great when you go out on a run without your iPhone. Overall upgrade on features is a great step up.

I held off on purchasing an Apple Watch until the Series 2 was released. I purchased the Apple Watch to use for health and fitness monitoring, and was looking for a water resistant product. I have yet to use the watch in the water, but wear it all the time, except when it charging. I have apps that I already had on my iPhone that have watch apps, no need to access the app through my iPhone, just go to my Apple Watch. I have added some additional related apps with their easy access through the watch. Purchased with the Woven Nylon band, because I was not sure if I would like the sport band. Pleased with the band, but plan on purchasing a Sport Band for use in the water during the summer.
