Apple Watch Series 2 is a homerun for anyone looking for a smartwatch focused around fitness. The screen is definitely brighter than the original Apple Watch and performance is much, much better. The case is a little thicker than the original Apple Watch--the only way I noticed this was because I had to move my sport band to the fourth notch versus the third on the original Apple Watch. The battery is improved even though Apple doesn't say it is. I'm a swimmer and the metrics are pretty accurate--your not going to get the detailed analytics from a Garmin, but it will provide you with active calories, total calories, distance, time, average heart rate (at the end of the workout, not during), lap count, average pace per 100, and dominate stroke. This is my first Apple Watch and I purposely waited for version 2 of the Apple Watch. I am glad I waited as this feels like a mature device and it really fast. I use this for so much more than just a fitness tracker which is what is how it was designed to be used. The battery life on this watch is great as I have been able to go 2 days without charging the watch which is awesome. I like the water resistance to 50m and not having to worry if I get it wet and with it being a watch it will be exposed to the elements a lot as well as being on when I go swimming. I highly recommend this new Apple Watch series 2!

I went with the Series 2 over the 3 because I didn’t want calls and text updates without my phone on me. I leave my phone behind when I want the silence. The display is great. I can put music on it and connect to my wireless headphones for a jog. Keeps track of my fitness stats and goals. I enjoy checking that if I’m driving to see if it’s an important message instead of messing with my phone.

I got the watch the same time as the iPhone 7plus. I needed the watch for being able to see who called or texted, cause phone wasn’t always with me. It was in another room at work. The phone part worked most times. The text part was cool. You you receive text and answer back by using keyboard, speaking or writing using finger. That’s what I used all the time. You could show your pics that were on your phone on to the watch, really cool. Because this Watch was on the cellular,carrier, you couldn’t be to far from the phone. The speaker on Watch was very good. I would recommend it only if you can’t have your phone with you, and your phone isn’t too far off. Love how it keeps track of steps and excerise you do.

We got this watch for my daughters boyfriends grad gift and he absolutely loves it! He loves the gps the talk features and sync to his phone Concept. It also looks very sharp! My favorite thing about the item is a combination of high tech and the classic wrist watch look; what makes it nicer? It can be accessorized by changing out the strap to match your moods or style. To say he was excited was an understatement!

Love my new Apple Watch!!! So happy I made this purchase. I'm very happy with it!!! I love it especially because when I'm at work I can't answer my phone or text messages so I can at least do it on my watch so that's so worth it to me. I also love the fitness part and how it tracks my steps and when I'm sitting too much tells me to stand more!!! It keeps me motivated!!!

To be honest I did not want to spend the $400 for a watch that I may or may not use especially after spending $800 on the iPhone 7. After doing some intensive research, taking a few trips to the store and getting some input from relatives that owns it I decided to try it. I now use it everyday because of the activity tracker and the ease of checking my notifications. I'm sure there are much more to know about the features so I still watch YouTube and read reviews to learn new things. I had a free Geek Squad setup but it was never offered to me when I picked up the watch so I never went back or called about it. The watch do not look big even though I purchased the series 2 in the 42mm case. I'm very careful so my watch is still in great shape but I did read a lot about cracked screens and scratched cases. I may eventually buy a protective case but I don't know if I want change the aesthetics of the Apple Watch because even though it's a big investment I want to experience it how it's intended to be used. I think some people will have more use for it such as swimmers but it is something that almost anyone can use if you own an iPhone. I will most likely purchase the 38mm for my Fiancé but I'll wait a few months to see if Apple have an upgrade. I'm very happy so far with my purchase.

I have had my Apple Watch for nearly six months. I have also owned or own other smart watches, including a Pebble, some Tizen based watches and an Android Wear device. I was unsure if I would like the Apple Watch, as it isn’t my favorite design of all the watches I’ve owned, but it’s performance and functionality have won me over. I had been using my Gear S3 Frontier, a watch I love for its great design and performance, with my iPhone. It worked, but only in a limited capacity, with an iPhone. So, I gave in and bought the Apple Watch. I have been very happy with how well everything works. It is easy to set up, has a great looking display with beautiful face options, and the overall design has grown on me. The performance is quite good. I do not experience lag or stuttering. Notifications show up as expected. It is easy to use Apple Pay on it. And, I enjoy being able to store things like plane boarding passes or concert tickets and just use my watch for entry. Phone calls and texting are also convenient and easy to initiate with either voice or tap. People can hear me fine if I take a call over it. I am very glad I decided to try the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Series 2 is similar to the first generation with minor upgrades but I thought I wait for the second gen to come out which is something many people who prefer better specs who doesn't mind waiting; I've had two smart watches before, one was the original Samsung Gear, it was nice for its time, after that, my next smart watch about a year and a half later I bought the Samsung Gear S, it also was nice, but comparing those two to the Apple Watch are different, the Gear S has a bigger display and you can type on the screen with a virtual keyboard but was laggy, my opinion on all smart watches is they should all have a dedicated stylus since it'll make using it a lot easier; the water resistance up to 50 meters is a plus, battery life is average, charging is a little quicker than my iPhone 7 Plus in terms of charging speed when timed at the same percentage; over all, I use it daily as a normal watch to tell time, for notifications, to talk when on speaker phone, a quick text and for when I work out, also, it helps motivate me to breath, also to get up and walk when I'm being lazy. Lol, I recommend this to those who are undecided if they don't have the first gen.

Easy to operate, I love the stylish look and the fact that I can change out my bands to match most of my attire.

Easy to setup. Water resistant. Easy to set timer, can choose your own picture on the face of the watch. You can track your activities, steps, excercize routines. There are many other features. It is a bit pricey, and the battery last about a day and a half.

I got this watch as an early graduation gift from my parents. I’m about 2 months late with my review and have just graduated with my BSN. I had the watch during my night shift preceptorship and the ability to read texts came in handy when you can’t pull out your phone around certain doctors. It’s very nice to have in conjunction with an iPhone. I love mine! It really comes in handy.

I'm really loving this watch! The reminders to get up or practice mindful breathing are great! Ability to change the watch face into pictures or Mickey Mouse is cool. Activity tracking....text...I could go on and on! Thanks Apple!

My husband loves his watch he is never without it.

I received my watch for Mother's Day. I order it on line and said it would take a close to a week. My watch came in about 2 days. I was so happy because it was the last rose gold with navy blue sports band in stock at Best Buy. Great service and most of all beautiful watch. The price is a little steep, but I tried using a smart watch compatible with android and Apple, but it didn't sync with my phone too well. Hope to play around with all the features the watch offers. Love the GPS on my phone and all the alerts, text messages and most off all I don't need my phone to talk.

Series 2 watch is awesome! Easy to use. Fits my wrist great and looks very professional yet sporty. I love the waterproof aspect of this watch.

I have been on the fence with smart watches in general but decided to take the plunge with watch series 2 and boy am I glad. I am a researcher and my watch fits my life style perfectly. I use it as a stop watch and rather than fiddle with my phone, I can start and stop my alarm from my wrist. It also is a great fitness device. You can have preset goals for walking and running. I can also take my calls on my apple watch and send texts from my watch. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I love my new Apple Watch 2 is now property water-resistant! It's very useful, I can text, call and great fitness tracking.

This is an amazing watch. With the upgraded sure fire speaker and the ability to store music on the watch is a great solution for exercising running with the ability to leave your phone if there was one thing I could change it would be to allow music to be played through this speakerand not require wireless headset earbuds. The other great feature of this watch is the waterproof water resistant option and feature. This is such a great watch we are in fact looking for one for my wife.

I really like the watch...use it every day. Onece you get used to using it you wonder how you got along without it. I am in Management and get a lot of emails and text messages. It is so much easier to look at your watch vs your phone. I got the series 2... just the basic grey aluminum. GPS is awesome when driving...notifies you before every turn so you can keep your eyes on the road
