I like how you can change music, answer calls, respond to texts, receive notification, get directions, check heart rate all from your wrist! This is a must-have! I can't go without it now! Makes my life easier, and more organized as well. If you're into fitness, this runs third party apps as well, and is probably your best bet if you have an iPhone.

Do you need it? No, but it's a great companion

Let me start by saying, I don't wear anything on my wrists. But with that said, with being a part of Apple's ecosystem of hardware, software, and iCloud services (I own iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple TV's and yes, I do own Windows PC desktops/laptops and Google Nexus tablets), I decided to give the Apple Watch a try. It's been about three weeks of ownership and I have to say that I'm sold, even with the current version. The next version of software will make things much better from what I've been reading, but for an early adopter of the device, I've found it very useful. I've tracked my workouts, monitored my activity and it has been a good companion in that regard. I've used it to pay for purchases via Apple Pay activated terminals and really liked the Map directions while driving. I've found that my iPhone stays in my pocket more often as notifications appear on my Watch and if something is important that I'd like to read, I'll whip it out. It doesn't feel heavy on my wrist and I could get close to two days of battery use if I wanted to. But I get a solid days use with about 35% battery left before I go to bed at night, around 11 pm. I charge it every night and that's not a big deal/issue to me. Like I've said, you don't need this device but I've found it useful so it depends on how you intend to use the Watch on whether it'll work for you or not. It has plenty of room for improvement and it will get better but for a first time device, it's been great right out of the box. By the way, I paired the Watch with the Zagg 42mm Apple Watch screen protector. You hardly notice the protector if installed correctly. I found Apple Watch to be a great extension of my iPhone 6 Plus and while it's another gadget, it's customizable to reduce notifications, etc. Watch OS2 will be coming out in Sept which will give developers the ability to install apps inclusively on the Watch (don't have to install an app on the iPhone) so I'm looking forward to the update. And no, I don't work for Apple...lol. Good luck!

This is perfect for you if you often scramble to dig your phone out of your purse or bag when you get a call or text. Now you never have to miss any important calls or text. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about dropping my phone when I'm rushing and fumbling to answer an important call. I can also connect my Line2 app for my business line on my watch and check voicemails, missed calls & text messages. Very cool! The standing/moving reminders are great especially if you get lost in your work and forget to move all day. I also added an app that helps me track my daily water intake. The ready set of text message replies are great especially when you're in a meeting. The text dictation is super accurate and convenient to use. My Duo Mobile security app also allows me to approve my VPN sessions on my watch. Great when I'm working from home and need to connect to my office computer. Having it as a remote to Apple TV and other devices is a nice perk. I'm very happy with the battery life. I charge every night and never went under 30% battery at the end of the day even with constant use throughout the day. Beside being able to customize the watch face, with Casetify, you can even design your own custom watch straps! Love this watch!

This is the most expensive but most useful accessory I have ever purchased. Here's what to know: PROS (1) Yes, it is water-resilient but not waterproof. It can withstand being submerged under water as deep as 1 meter for a max of 30 minutes, according to Apple's testing. From personal experience, I can wash my hands or shower without risking damage. I have also watched a review on Youtube of a user swimming laps for an hour with the Watch on and it resisted damage. However, I still advise caution. It's still an electronic device susceptible to water damage. (2) I don't think it's necessary to upgrade to a higher level Apple Watch unless you want the metal band (which can be purchased separately) and better quality glass or gold casing. The Watch with the sapphire glass would be a great upgrade though. However, that is all aesthetics to me. (3) I did not purchase a case but I have no visible scratches yet, and I normally bang and scratch up my other watches a lot. (4) It pairs with the iPhone perfectly. You have to have the Apple Watch app on the iPhone in able to customize the Watch. (5) It is really geared towards being healthy so the Activity app on the Watch is constantly reminding you to stand up or be active. I love that. (6) You can even leave your iPhone charging in another room and as long as it's connected (through Bluetooth) you can answer phone calls or reply to text messages through the Watch. (You can live out your fantasy as James Bond with his many spy-gadgets.) (7) Your iPhone does not have to be with you for the Activity and heart rate monitor to work. The Watch will save the information offline until synced with your iPhone again. (8) It can be a remote to control your music & camera from your iPhone and even your Apple TV. (9) Apple Pay works from the Watch as well. It's so convenient even though it's still not too common to see businesses capable of accepting Apple Pay. (10) There are already many apps and games that work with the Watch, including Pandora, Instagram, Maps, Google Maps, Nike+ Running, & Amazon. CONS: (1) I do wish that the Watch was completely 100% waterproof. It's not yet. (2) I wish there was a built-in camera like the Samsung Galaxy watch. (3) It's still an accessory, but not quite a "must-have." The wearable tech field still isn't very mainstream yet, but I can see the potential and the usefulness. These are the only reasons why I give it a 4 instead of a 5. I am not a paid spokesperson for Apple Watch. It would be nice though, Apple.

Let's start off by saying that I love this watch. It's versatile enough to be worn in any occasion. But looks and productivity are still not there. What's good? Notifications. It's such a simple way to quickly check notifications without missing out in a conversation. Although notifications are great it is difficult to reply to messages as there are limited text phrases, and there is no custom entry. First party apps work as adversited but third party apps need work. What this watch is not is a phone replacement. If you're buying this watch to have your phone always in your pocket please think again. Your 4.7/5.5in screen is a million times better than the tiny screen in the watch, and that's the point. Your watch should be a companion to your phone, not your primary device. Performance for the watch is hit or miss, good with Apple built apps but could be laggy with third party apps. Battery life: it will have to be charged every day. Lastly: think of this first gen product as a beta type product. It will get better (compare iPhone 2g to 3G and iPad with iPad 2)

Apple Watch displays a red exclamation point after doing the update. It takes over a week to get an appointment so you can send the device out. Thats with apple care, Garbage disappointed, not reliable, There is no support for a known issue.

I bought the Apple Watch Sport 42mm , and all i can say its awesome watch, i can take calls , send and receive text, monitor my heart, exercise and other things that i can just look up without taking my iphone 6 plus out of my pocket. One thing that you need to know, this watch its not water proof, so dont go swimming with it, if its just sweat or a few drops of rain, thats fine. but do not just poor water on it. My apple watch looks and feels great on my wrist, i also bought a case and an invisible protector for my screen and it looks great while protecting my watch. I wear my watch every day and it last me charge all day( typical last 18 hrs) but i had used is without charge 24 hrs and still have 50%, it all depends how you use your apple watch. Im happy with my Apple watch. Glad that Best Buy will carry the bands, Im ready to buy other colors of bands.

Usually I am an early adopter, but for some reason the concept of a wearable is just not something that made sense to me. Well... I finally bit the bullet and picked up the Apple Watch. Wow what a device! It's so easy and so smart. From the customizable watch faces keeping a fitness on fitness but also showcasing what's coming up next on my calendar. And the notifications, what a help! It will take a while to get it configured just how you want it, but once you're set I promise you will love this thing. As an added bonus I am a runner and a golfer and the apps on the watch greatly enhance those activities as well.

I admit, despite being an IPhone and IPad user that I was initially dismissive of the Apple Watch. Cute watch faces and the marketing emphasis on fashion obscure the incredible utility of this device. The ability to manage email, text messages, and phone calls in an unobtrusive fashion as an extension of your IPhone is liberating. As a fitness and health monitoring device its functionality is powerful yet intuitive, and therefore a valuable tool for helping you to integrate more frequent exercise and discipline into your daily regime. As an indoor and outdoor cyclist, the utility of the watch as a cycling computer is phenomenal. Apple Pay and the wallet application is fantastic. I find myself going out of my way to patronize stores and restaurants that support NFC payments because of the convenience and security that making purchases in this manner offers. The battery life of this product is also far better than I expected. I typically go 36 hours between charges which typically require 60 to 90 minutes. I am very pleased with the Apple Watch.

I really like my iWatch. Comfortable, lightweight and stylish. When driving, it prompts you with turn by turn directions, including pictures of the route and map. No need to look at your iPhone, the iWatch shows you everything your phone would. Take/make phone calls, respond to texts and control your music without the need to touch your iPhone. I'm discovering new thing this device does every day. So happy with my purchase! Cannot wait to see what else this handy little thing can do.

The watch feels well made and seems to be holding up help well. It works very good and I have experienced no hiccups with it, which is impressive for a first generation product. The health tracking feature is great, especially the built in heart rate monitor. I love being able to get my notifications through it, which keeps my iPhone in my pocket more. However, and this is a big however. The watch is flat out priced too high as well as any Apple branded accessories for it. If it were $100 dollars less I think it would be priced just right. Let's face it, it will more than likely be absolete in two years time. I love Apple products, and understand that there has always been a premium price to pay for them, but it seems that recently they have just flat out been gouging people on their latest product releases.

I bought the Apple Watch at first for my girlfriend as she was in the market for a Fitbit. After doing some research, it seemed that the Apple Watch, though more expensive, was the better of the two and more useful. So I bought the Apple Watch for her, she tried it out, we both messed around with it, and it really opened my eyes to the future of wearable tech. I've never been a fan of watches so I was super skeptic with this even though I'm an Apple fan. The fitness aspect was the biggest draw for me. The fitness tracker is great. It will track your steps, exercise, and how many times you stand up and will alert you to stand up every hour, being that sitting down for too long is not great for your health and may cause clots. And I work at a computer all day so this was a useful feature. The fact I can access texts and phone calls through the watch is also a huge plus. It's nice to be able to leave my phone in the car and go play a game of tennis or run and still have access to incoming calls or texts. Some downsides is the fact that you have to charge it, yea, of course it needs to be charged but would be nice to not have to plug it in at night. The battery life isn't horrible though. It will usually last about a day and a half. If you don't have access to charge it during the day, you'll probably be charging it every night. And even though the watch is light and that noticeable, it is sort of bulky. There have been a few times where I've hit the watch on door jambs. So the downsides are a big deal, just don't be clumsy and have access to a usb to charge it, which charges up fairly quickly at about 2 hours. So is the Apple Watch worth $350+? It just depends on what you will use it for. For telling the time? Heck no. But to use it for fitness and the convenience factor of exercising and still having access to texts and calls. For me, I love it. It's a nice piece of wearable tech and it makes me hopeful for the future.

First off, this will NOT replace your phone in any significant way. It's more of a convenient extension for those that are usually busy and don't want to take their phone in and out of their pocket repeatedly. PROS: nice design, reasonable battery life, great for glancing at e-mails, texts, and other updates quickly(weather, maps, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), great for tracking workout data, good for setting reminders, and of course it can also tell you the time. The watch faces are fairly customizable (some more than others) and present selected information nicely. You can control music with the watch and certain movie apps. CONS: phone calls have a delay when talking. I noticed the receiving end would hear what I said 2, sometimes 3, second after I've said it. I know it's probably not such a huge deal to some, but it's noticeable. Texting is either through preset replies such as: Thanks, okay, can we talk later? Or through voice dictation. Voice dictation is spotty and has trouble clearly hearing what I said. Unless you workout often enough that you can take full advantage of the heart rate monitor and workout tracker, there really isn't much here for you to use. It's a great piece of tech and can come in real handy when you need to quickly reply to a text or email. I don't regret buying it at all, but would only recommend to those that live an active lifestyle and enjoy seeing the results of a workout. To others I usually say it's best to wait until the next one is announced. I'm sure the next Apple Watch will have functions better suited for every lifestyle.

I was already in the market for a watch so I tried out the Apple Watch with a little bit of hesitance. I have to say I was more than impressed. Apple doesn't do any advertising for new parents or people with kids on how much easier and convenient this watch can be. We have a newborn at home this watch as been a life saver. When I'm holding her I n longer need to run to my phone or reach in my pocket and use two hand to text on the big Iphone plus. I can simply hold my wrist to up to my mouth and make phone calls and text messages. It's also great for when I'm at work and my phone is ringing or my texts are going off I can quickly read the text without being obvious and pulling out my phone and see if it's some thing urgent or I can get back to it later. Love this device and excited for the new features to come in the future!

Let me start by saying that the apple watch wants to steal the attention your iPhone gets. It is by definition an extension of your phone onto your wrist. This is best achieved through Apple's clever "Glances" feature that makes the device a such a perfect companion to it's phone counterpart. You basically contain on your smart watch a slimmed down gallery of compatible apps that let you see a glimpse of what's happening on your phone. The design of the watch itself is sleek and modern. You can tell this is an apple product. If wearables really take off, you can be sure Apple will be at the forefront in smartwatch comfort. The watch bands themselves are smooth to the touch and mold to the shape of your wrist. Were it not for the gentle taps generated from the underside of the watch you'd forget you were wearing it. This brings me to probably the most important aspect or purpose for the device's use: Phone and app notifications. Believe it or not, a lot of people have complained of the endless array of notification/reminders their watch would give. While this can be true, it all depends on the user themselves. One thing I did not expect when first using the apple watch was that I became more adept at monitoring and tweaking apps I used with their many notification options. Over time your smart watch will become almost biotech like, working in tune with your daily routine, nudging you when you need it to. Overall, the apple watch is a finely crafted piece of tech that succeeds in standing out amongst an ever growing market of wearable technology.

The watch is way beyond a gadget or novelty. There are thousand of ways to set it up. It was a Christmas gift from my wife. Everyday I learn a little more about it, tweak it a little more. Size is just right for my wrist and fingers but beware. I have average size adult hands but a person with very large hands is going to struggle. Even though mine is the sport model it is very classy. I get lots of complements on it. It is quirky with some apps, Words with Friends crashes it so I had to quit using it. The talk to text for sending texts is unbelievably accurate. Siri seems much better on the watch than on my iphone 6. You are limited in the number of auto-reply texts you can program and that is a bummer. I still have no idea if it is waterproof. There seems to be conflicting data. Battery on mine is typically down to 30% or less at the end of the day so I charge it every night. This doesn't bother me since I do not sleep in a watch. I put an xDoria protector around the edge and a zagg screen protector. I would highly recommend some sort of protection for at least the screen. Accessories are pricey, just like the watch.

Purchased this after doing some research, decided on the larger of the two since I am 6 ft 1. I think it compliments my iPhone perfectly, definitely let's you get a glimpse of emails, text, weather, and health without having to take you phone out of your pocket or backpack. I would recommend to those wanting to add some bulk to you apple watch look into the Lunatik or something similar because the thin design, although nice for some isn't really my thing. The sport band gives it that G-Shock look and feel.
