I didn’t do so my first round with the original AirPods, and the left ear went bad after 3 years of rigorous usage. This is two years of additional coverage with a reduced deductible, but is worth it.

Worth it to me

In my opinion, the Apple Care insurance is worth the price. Especially for really expensive stuff.
