We didn't get the apple care and were bummed at the ridiculous cost to repair them. So, it was better to get a new pair and then add the Apple Care this time. Live and learn!

My headphones usually have microphone problems and Apple replaced each incident without any fees. Sadly my 2 year plan expired, and would definitely extend if possible.

I've purchased multiple AppleCare+, but I've never used it. Hopefully, nothing happens to my AirPods, but if it does, I'll be prepared.

Once you get to the correct person(after a few hours), they are very helpful. I wish there was more explanation on the process when it’s sold. Not all Best Buy stores are authorized for replacement and to try and find out was a never ending loop of no one knowing where to send you to find out. The number they gave me to ask, they were closed on the weekends. They do ship very fast.

We have it through our Best Buy membership plan for all our apple products and can go directly to the apple store to get issues resolved or products replaced at no additional cost.
