Not what you’d expect

Or throw it against a wall and smash it. Otherwise they have protocols in place so that it will cost you money as if you dropped it in a lake or smashed it on the ground. They have no way of establishing or proving that the product they sold to you was sealed. So if your device is in a life proof case and never sees water, but the indicator is red then your device has water damage. The fact that side button doesnt move is irrelevant, they have an escape goat. The red indicator, which makes any problem you have, from water damage, to a device that is water resistant, yes not any type of water proof. So a device that is supposed to be sealed with no established priof it ever was is now as their discretion.

Not very happy.

Apple was willing to send me a new one but wanted me to pay $30. I refused and after I spoke with a supervisor Apple did send me a new watch without charging me the $30. It was an awful lot of trouble to go through for something that cost $400.
