    I've had apple care on items in the past and have always been very please with the service I received. Haven't used it yet on this item (apple watch) but I figure with the risk of a wrist item and damage, having this protection plan will keep me a satisfied apple user.

    I first bought a refurbished watch having been told I could buy apple care for it. I was not allowed to do that, so I exchanged it for an open box, for which I was able to purchase apple care.
