    My normal thought on extended warranties is that if you don't buy it you wished you had, and when you do buy it you never need it. I purchased the extended warranty on my first watch and got to use it, when repeated showers, hand washing etc caused my watch to stop working. With Apple Care I was covered and the watch was replaced. I purchase Apple care on all Apple products.

    I've had to use the AppleCare replacement for my watch once... clumsy me... and I have to do a second claim. My phone slipped off the bed and slammed into the face. It left some pretty annoying scratches. The decrease in trade-in value is worth the cost of a claim. I recommend this protection for everyone.

    I highly recommend purchasing the care plan. I have not had to use it but I feel better knowing that if something happened to my watch, I would have to invest little more to repair it.

    Necessary, but I don’t like having a deductible and paying “insurance”. Apple has great products, but they take advantage of the customer.
