my sons tablet fell in water i called applecare paid the deductible send the damage tablet to them and they send me a new one.

Love knowing it’s protected by Apple and not some 3rd rate insurance company that doesn’t like to backup their warranty

Applecare+ is a must have, for accidental replacements instead of paying full price of new ones.

Not sure if this was a worthwhile purchase. I've never actually had any of my many Apple products have a real problem in the first 4-5 yrs . Plus I have Tech squad membership . I might just not need it since Apple stuff is so well made.
