i got it "just in case" with any electronic that expensive or not, get protected.

I always purchase an extended warranty. I would rather have extra protection then none at all. It's well worth the little extra cost to have it if/when you need it.

Purchased apple care for my daughters iPad which saved me a lot more money than I would of paid for the screen repair. Instead of paying 200+ I paid 50 for the repair great deal!

It's better to be safe then sorry, so I got myself Apple Care. The only downside to this is that if I need any help with my ipad, geeksquad cannot help. I need to go to the nearest apple store. Which is ridiculous.

Hope we never have to use it but we got it just in case.

Ipad works magnificently and has good enough storage, but a bit delicate on the screen.

Fantastic for the purposes that I bought it for and runs smoother and quicker than any laptop or tablet I’ve owned. Overall a phenomenal tool to use for everyday purposes!

This is a must have if you purchase apple products, but the price continues to increase.

I also buy protection plans. They really make you feel safe about using your products.

There are few extended warranties I would consider buying. AppleCare is the exception. Coverage for devices with glass screens and backs makes a lot of sense, especially if you don’t upgrade every year.

The purchase of Apple Care is a must!! They do stay true to their word when purchasing Apple Care. I was just thankful it wasn’t $250 like it is for the iPad Pros.

I always purchase the apple care plans for all of my apple products. It is easy to set up the appointment at the genius bar. Whenever I need any service the guys are very helpful. Must buy when getting any of their products.

I don't often buy "extended warranties"; but I have seen too many iPads and iPhones (and other non-Apple devices) damaged beyond repair. Just the nature of the beast. I like that Apple is standing behind its products like this.

I’ve had the 3rd generator IPad for about 4-5 years. I decided to upgrade because I had no more memory and it was slow. This IPad is great. The graphics are tremendously better. More memory. I love the size as well.

I hope I don't have to use the Apple Care plus but is good to know that it is there.

The plan was purchased for iPad given to my grandson who can sometimes be rough on his electronics. However, we have not had to use the plan up to this point so I do not know the true value. The plan was a little expensive, but does provide some peace of mind. Would probably not have purchased for iPad being used by an adult.
