Apple care has saved my butt in the past. I always purchase it. If something does happen it’s easily pays for itself.

Don't love after market warranties but the protection for this apple product could be ok if there are accidents but overall, we realize that this product is solid and won't probably have an issue on it's own. We bought the warranty because we gave it as a gift. I would not buy the warranty for myself.
