Make sure you think you will use the benefits of the service before paying $99 for the package. You can essentially get all the knowledge you need on these devices from google searches.

Not sure if it pays to spend money on these extra warranties. This is one of the very few times I have done it. I hope I don't need it but if I do I would hope they actually cover the repairs.

Have not had to use it yet, if i do need it the price may be worth it. At this time it seems a wast of money. Will see in the future.

I have been buying Apple products for over 30 years and I've always bought the AppleCare plans for the portable devices. I never needed to use any of the plans. Better safe than sorry?

I can't really say its great or that it's bad because i prefer geek squad protection plan better

Since the the 3 months we are in with the iPad obviously we haven't have any issues so I can't not say much about the AppleCare. I will review it if something goes wrong.

Well it is unfortunate that you must get the apple care for any kind of warranty. If you are forced to take it, it should already be reflected in the advertised price.

Seems like a great deal, that they will cover accidental as well but it a lot more pricey than the one they offer at Walmart. They offer the same coverage but for less.

I was upset when I read the fine print when I got home (not shown to me in store) that if I used Apple Care there would be a $49 service charge each time.

So far we have not used the ipad very much. I plan to do more with it but don't think the protection plan was necessary.

Never have to use Apple care, so couldn’t tell you, I got it because this iPad will be used more out doors

Good protection but alas its Apple, so expensive. However I have had the battery replaced in other products using AppleCare so its a break even if you do this.

I don't agree with the rules for apple care charging a fee. That's the whole purpose of purchasing a warranty. Best Buy please take over the warranty process.

Not practical buying because one still has to give apple $50 each time you use it. But that's on Apple not Best Buy.

It was a bit expensive. But I always appreciate the patient wonderful help I receive when calling Apple. Other than one phone call I have not used it.

Kind of a ‘must’ as this iPad is for our 7 year old...hasn’t broken it yet though *fingers crossed*

Personally I liked the Best Buy plan better than the Apple care. With this coverage if I do go to the Apple store I have to pay shipping.
