Customers often highlight the protection, peace of mind, and coverage that AppleCare+ offers. They appreciate the warranty and replacement services, and many consider the price to be reasonable for two years of coverage. On the other hand, some customers dislike having to pay a deductible, especially for cracked screens.

The cost of insuring the product for one additional year is more than 30% of its cost , and thats not even comprehensive coverage.

Best Buy should show same level of customer service selling any product for channel partners like Apple as they would do it for their own products.

What good is a protection plan if you still have to pay. Wifes IPad has a crack in the screen, never been accidently dropped or mis-handled but still has a crack. So under AppleCare+ you get to pay another $100.00 for a new screen, Yeah Thanks for nothing

The I-Pad pro 2 is so good and easy to use, you kind of don't need to use extra care, but I'm glad I have it in case something goes wrong.

If you don't buy it, something will unfortunately happen, as is my experience.
When you do buy it, you never need it. Pick your poison

When I had trouble with my iPad while traveling in October 2019, I went into the Apple Store in Portland, Maine for assistance. I was told that if they assisted me, I would have to pay for their service because they could not find any proof that I had AppleCare for my iPad. I assured them that I had purchased the coverage when I bought 2 iPads for my husband and I just 11 months earlier. The employee argued with me and said that I would have to show a receipt. How many of you carry those with you? Right!! I asked him to contact Best Buy in Las Cruces, NM where we had purchased our iPads and their coverages. He said that they don't work that way. I told him that I would call Discover and they could verify the purchases and he said that they wouldn't count that as proof. Be careful when purchasing the added coverages. I was out $69, and had to wait until I got back home to get the problem solved by someone else.
