5 times the price of the best buy insurance they used to offer for their apple products. With copays that best buy doesn't charge. Literal trash, i bought an entire sound system and 100 dollars in vynls and still had 70 dollars for the best buy insurance when i returned my ipad. Because the apple products are trash. You want a computer that does what you tell it (windows, linux, android). or tells you how to do it? Extremely unhappy with Apple

Sales person told me Apple Care for the iPad was 3 years with no deductible. I was foolish and took his word. After I got home I received an email that said it was for 2 years and had a $45 deductible.

Does not cover ZAGG shield that cracked and fell off. Agent said I should have known to bring in broken shield. How would I know this. Called many times no one can tell where I would have found this information. Very upset with boardman Best Buy. I am 75 but use the internet to look things up. I want to see this in writing. Not just be charged for replacement.

I have used it twice. So far a waste of my money and my time. I have spent hours with techs that have very little knowledge of my issues. They have to read and ask their supervisors. I am also allowed to use the Geek Squad from Best Buy. I have used them once. That was also a big disappointment. You are probably better in using Google and YouTube. I believe it was also recommended to me by apple care tech last night.

Many times I have called for tech support and the agents have had no clue how to address the issues. Almost always have to request a supervisor to get satisfaction.

Awful. Best Buy agent scheduled appointment for repair. Told us warranty still valid, scheduled us appointment. We drove, was told expired. Called on phone. One good agent but connected us to Apple, disconnected. No one helps. Price. Warranty. Customer service will never purchase Best Buy again.

You can't take your product into an Apple store, chats are worthless when the person trying to help you is not a native English speaker, when you call into support it is so frustrating when they say they can't do anything over the phone. After these two months of frustration I sold my M1 Mac Mini, returned my M1 Macbook Pro, and am going to trade my iPhone 12 Pro Max for a Samsung.

The only reason I am giving this a "1 star" is that I really cannot rate it anything higher since I just purchased the plan and have not had to use it!
The true rating should come once an item needs to be repaired and then we can rate how well the process was handled by Apple!
If apple wants to really know what their service is like, send one of these out to every customer that opens a trouble ticket needing to use their paid coverage!

According to the Best Buy Geek Squad Rep., Apple will not allow warranty for major repairs such as the broken touch button on the screen. You can send it for repairs but if the iPad is damaged through negligence, Apple will send you a bill. Completely useless warranty.

We don’t buy Apple care+ anymore. If something happens to our electronics Best Buy said they won’t fix coz it is apple care. So they send us out to Apple store and apple store refused to get it fix even though we have the plan. They make us pay extra to get it fix.

If I had it to do all over again I would buy insurance elsewhere. This insurance makes you pay a $49 fee if you use it. I usually buy the accident insurance that the stores offer but because of COVID I bought this online and picked up at store.
