It’s really a non-decision. Stuff happens and you will wish you had. They may offer the option of enrolling in the first year of ownership but it seems to make sense to wrap it up with the purchase. I don’t purchase other extended warranties—I just don’t wanna be without the display.

I have not needed it and I hope I never do, however, I have used Apple Care in the past and it was worth the price
