I heard good things about apple care so I’m going to try it good back up I’m very hard on my phones.

Could use some changes to it but for the most part it's good for what i used it for

Great to have in case the phone is damaged, not working properly, or cracked screen.

I bought an iPhone 7+ for my fiance, who promptly put it into Activation Lock by forgetting her passcode and attempting too many incorrect tries. Fortunately, I had the foresight to get her an AppleCare+ contract, and Apple was VERY helpful in resolving the issue. Removing an Activation Lock isn't a simple process, but each person I spoke to at Apple passed the case information on to the next level seamlessly. Several people from Apple also called me to follow up and make sure all was well. This is how Customer Service should be. The fact that it costs extra isn't a concern, I am happy it is available.

while this iphone is easier to use than the others there are some things that are vastly different and i needed some help. i contacted a customer service rep at apple care -and she was so patient with me and walked me thru what needed to be done - and even though it was something simple - the customer service rep let me know that no question was stupid and they were there to help and make sure i was able to utilize the phone to its fullest potential - this was the first i had ever called but i know should an issue arise again - i can contact them - and get answers that i need!

We've learned the hard way that the monthly, or yearly, cost of this is worth the investment. It's hard to believe because when I do the math it doesn't add up, but in reality it has already paid for itself just a month into our situation. We had a cracked screen within a month of getting the new phones with AppleCare+. I was able to take it to an Apple Store and have it replaced for $29 in a 2 hour period. Versus the $149-$199 I was quoted outside of AppleCare via other providers. My only complaint is that you only get 2 claims for the duration of your care. I can understand the 2 claims if it's a full phone replacement (kind of, I mean it is insurance), but not for a cracked screen or other smaller issues. Still, saved me basically the cost of the AppleCare+ almost immediately.

Paying monthly hope to use it for something one day.

Phone works as advertised. I was a previous iPhone user who switched to the droid products. I have used the droid products for the last 5 to 6 years. I decided to switch back to the iphone. It has very good sound and the processor works well too. Ultimately I have no real complaints. The battery is pretty decent too but if you are doing a lot of gaming or watching movies/playing games you may want to invest in a external battery. This is an issue with any of the cell phones though. I would recommend this to a friend or family member.

Of course you've gotta have the AppleCare as you're surely going to be in some sort of anxiety inducing moment as the the world around you enters slow motion; you'll be watching in fear and worry as the iPhone glides through the air as it gets knocked to the floor, twisting and moving gruesomely as you prey that it won't shatter as it collides with the the concrete, uncaring for your feelings, ready to shatter as glass screens will... Well if it does break, luckily it's only $30 to replace the screen under the plan now.

I haven't used the AppleCare yet but for the price I could not leave the store without purchasing it to cover my new iPhone. What you pay monthly to ensure your phone will be fixed is really good. The prices to fix your phone are great as well. Coming from an android where I paid $13 a month for service and $250 deductible to fix anything wrong with the phone AppleCare is only $8 a month and $30 to fix the screen if it cracks and $100 to fix all else. I'd say this is a far better then what I had before.

This one's a no brainer. I was paying Sprint $11 per month for warranty coverage and the one time I thought I'd need to file a claim I was then informed I'd need to shell out over $200 to replace the phone!! Compare that to paying $3 less per month for a warranty thru APPLE and paying $99 for a phone replacement. This one was the easiest purchase decisions I've ever made in my life. Thank you Best Buy for employing honest and informed people who saved me money AND put my best interests first!

I'll admit it was hard to change from Samsung but over all we are pleased. I just wished that customization was part of Apple. Overall it's a great phone, plan and we are learning the system. The apple care program is a great option. The selling point for me was that the monthly fee and deductible was cheaper. Glad that this is offered thru Apple. It sure blows Verizion's insurance out of the water!

Our phone insurance was at least $12 or $13 a month and to use it when my husband's screen cracked for his android( insurance through phone company - Asurance) it was $200 for them for a "new" phone which apparently is sometimes just a refurbished unit. So when we got iPhones, $9/month was a better deal plus to get a screen replaced is only $30 and if you needed to get the phone replaced, it is always a new unit. Definitely better than your provider's so called insurance

Highly recommended to have it. I was the kind of person who always like to say no to any smartphone insurance at all. But keep in mind things happens when you least spect it. Recently I dropped my one week new Iphone 7 plus, the screen cracked to the point that you could've gotten your face cut if you put it close to your face. Thankfully I got the apple care insurance and it took me 1 hour and 30$ to get if fix at the Apple Store..

I had my 5s for three years and I finally dropped it to its doomed fate, and had to get a new phone. I planned on just getting a 6s because I heard that the iPhone 7 was horrible. Sales manager ended up persuading me to buy the 7 and it's the best choice I've made so far. I love the new updated version, the slightly larger screen, the battery life, and everything else about this phone! Hopefully it will last me three more years!

Warranties are a must for any electronic of value in my opinion and your cell phone definitely qualities for such care. Although there is a small charge for the service fee of replacing a cracked screen for example, it is nothing compared to what you would have to pay otherwise. This is the only downsize to purchasing the AppleCare; the addition fees. However, "it's better to have it and not need than to need it and not have it."

I appreciate being able to have Apple care knowing that if anything happens to my phone they are going to be there to fix it! But nothing's happened yet so we will see how the service works if anything does.
