We bought this for my mother in law's new iPhone. She leads an active life, and cracked the screen on her last phone. As she seems prone to dropping her phone from time to time, we thought it might be worth it. We opted for the $7.99 a month option, but kind of wish we had opted for the one time $129. For most people, I think I would not recommend. Like most warranty plans, it's another profit making enterprise. However, Apple care is definitely the way to go IF you are accident prone. We wanted my mother in law to have the extra security and peace of mind.

Took out Apple Care on all 4 of my family's iPhone 7's. My kids are bad about dropping their cell phones and cracking the screen. Paying just $7.99 a month each I don't have to worry if they crack the screen now because it is only $30 deductible to get it fixed! Totally worth it and not paying $130 to have it done at a hole in the wall store that could technically destroy your phone.

I like that the AppleCare is separate from your phone bill when I've used insurance before I've come across high deductibles and lots of issues the way Warren my rep in Niles who explained it all to me I was very informative I've not had the need to use it yet but I will see how it is if I do as I said in my other reviews I am completely 1000% satisfied with Best Buy for everything

We usually don't buy AppleCare but within a few weeks of getting the new iPhone 7 plus the screen cracked - the zagg person chipped the phone from applying so much pressure and we were glad we got the AppleCare. Be careful with zagg as we did not drop our phone. Sometimes things can just be faulty. It's worth it if you are accident prone or just need piece of mind.

I'm always the type to break my phones the monthly cost isn't bad and the prices to repair by apple specialist (instead of someone at a wanna be phone fixing store) I'd recommend to anyone who has the conmon sense to know how much repairs cost up front anywhere else ! I don't usually get warranties or things in this nature but I know I'll get my money's worth when time comes.

This time due to that I leased an I-Phone I had no choice but to buy Apple care. Although there are a lot of other plans out there, the plan is reasonably priced (a lot less than the carrier's plan) and Best Buy has always been extremely fair and fast towards fixing or replacing a damaged cell-phones in the past. Definitely worth the money, especially if you lease your phone.

I love apple and their insurance. Especially since they just changed the price of repair for the phone. I didn't know they covered the accessories in the box which is awesome with the new headphone adapter. My last iPhone, I shattered the screen and it would've been 300 to fix without AppleCare. Now I know I will only have to pay about 30 bucks if that happens. It's great!!!

I spent a few weeks reviewing this and the Amazon product. To me this was the best choice. Having the ability for anyone in the household use this is a plus. Yes it is tied to one google account, but if you activate one account for all to use it is no problem. We have used this a "heck a bunch" of times since purchasing last night and enjoy everything it does. I believe the sound is great for a small product and how we can request to watch a tv program by just asking (yes getting old and real lazy now).

I choose apple care because it was less than the insurance I was paying through Verizon. Also I was told that if I had any problems with my phone that all I had to do was go to any Apple store and they would help me or resolve the problem. Other than that with assurion you would have to contact them and mail out your phone and wait for them to return your phone

I bought my husband an iPhone7 from Best Buy just before Christmas. He had an old flip phone and wanted to upgrade his phone and get a better plan than the one he had with Verizon. Best Buy took me through all the steps not only to upgrade my husband but also to get an upgraded phone for myself. We are both very happy with our Christmas gifts. Thanks Best Buy.

When the employee asked if I wanted AppleCare, I wasn't so sure-only because I've had warranties in the past that I paid extra for, yet it didn't seem to pay once I needed to use it. The price of AppleCare is well worth the cost-$30 for screen damage and $100 for total replacement! Me being the clutz that I am, I couldn't have left the store without it.

Of all our Apple devices, we've only used AppleCare for repairs a couple of times, and we have a lot of devices. But the peace of mind for a worry free, inexpensive repair, is worth the extra money. It's a bonus that you can make monthly payments on this now through Best Buy, and it doesn't have to eat up your wallet the day you get your iPhone or other device!

For those of us who have dropped things or have encountered Murphy’s Law, Applecare is the best defense against occurrences which can dampen your day if your iPhone drops, smashed, or any other unnatural occurrence for the iPhone. The phone is a big investment and Applecare is like insurance. One does not think about it until you need it. Worth the money.

For little over $8 a month. AppleCare+ provides repair or replacement coverage, both parts and labor, from Apple-authorized technicians. So of course what would cost you an arm and a leg to replace such as the screen is a fraction of the cost, and I know majority of people who carry their phone with no case, better to be prepared than caught blindsided.

The phone I had before this phone was a generic phone. I had it for years. Nothing ever happened to it and I was happy with it. My granddaughter dropped something out of a kitchen cabinet on it and that was the end of my phone. I'm glad my son suggested a iPhone. I wasn't glad about the price but once it was set up it was worth it. I love my new phone.

I wanted to upgrade from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6. It took a while to find one without a payment plan, but found it on Best buy site, It arrived via mail very quickly. I love it. The screen is much bigger and easier for me to read. The camera is great, much better than my old phone. I took it to my local Best Buy and they downloaded my pics and contacts.

THIS EXTRA PLAN IS SUPPOSED TO BE WORTH IT'S WEIGHT IN GOLD!!!!! VERY CHEAP PRICE COMPARED TO THE PRICE TO REPLACE AN IPHONE. I HOPE WE NEVER HAVE TO USE IT BUT ...... SOME OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND THE BEST BUY SALES ASSOCIATES SAID IT IS WORTH THE LOW MONTHLY PRICE ESPECIALLY FOR A TEENAGER!!!!!!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!

A little hesitant to go to Best Buy vs. AT&T Store for my iPhone. So glad I did. Reps were extremely helpful and patient. Best service I have had in a while. Mateo was the main person I worked with and he was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the various versions of the iPhone available. Extremely helpful in helping me decide what I needed.

The online purchase was easy enough to process. However, the pickup at the store and activating the phone was an entirely different story. We waited on various lines for about 2 hours to pick up the phone and activate it. Got the phone, but I had to activate it online. Wasted a lot of time. Last ones to leave the store after closing.

Apple Care is way less expensive than Sprint's phone insurance. It is nice Apple insures their own phones it is way more cheaper than Sprint's insurance. I've not had a problem, although I am very careful with my iPhone I can't afford not to be careful with my iPhone. It is also great all the coverage they have in-case of a accident.
