I don't normally buy "insurance" for my items. Most products that aren't built properly will break prior to the warranty expiration. Apple care, however, will fix and or repair damage for a reasonable charge. My previous phone dove into the Caribbean Sea. Needless to say I had no coverage for breakage. I travel a lot and decided being able to have a phone fixed in the event of a careless accident was worth the money. My hope is that I never have to use it

This plan saved me @ $220 since my daughter cracked her iphone screen and couldn't get the "forever" upgrade without the screen being fixed. Took it to the apple store and for $39, it looked brand new and the screen was apple certified. If Apple can't fix the screen and the phone certify to their standards, they will replace it.

At first I thought, "Well if I pay $7.99 a month for 2 years I'm paying more than the $129 flat rate for AppleCare for the 2 year period." Then I was told you can cancel anytime. Since I upgrade every year I am now NOT paying for the entire 2 years and will be saving money. I like this idea better than shelling out $129 at once.

After replacing numerous screens from drops and accidents, the costs seem to add up! With this service, the pricing to fix mistakes is excellent! While I can only hope that my kids take care of the phones they have, I know that when an accident does happen, the cost won't kill me! Very good deal for only $8 a month!

Killed my iPhone when I droppped it in the toilet. Took it to Best Buy. They told me to go to the Apple Store for a refurbished replacement since I had Apple Care insurance. Happily, they replaced my iPhone with a brand new one. Too bad I had to pay a $99 deductible, though, more than 1/5th the phones price. I think Apple insurance could do better than that. After all, my car has a $500 deductible, no where near 1/5th its price.

The only reason I gave it a 3 is because I am new to iPhone and Apple and haven't had to use it yet. I will return later on if I have to file a claim.

`You can't have an IPhone without AppleCare - it's a must. Think about it, you are carrying around a mini hi-tech computer in your pocket or purse. Something is bound to happen at some point! Having that protection takes a lot of stress off when/if you damage your phone. I'm definitely happy having that cushion!

The monthly plan I chose was easy to select for the expected usage of my new device. The plans are organized in a notebook in a way that comparisons are readily available and all the available plans were understandable to review. Helpful answers for questions provided by the technician.

I'm lucky that I haven't had to use it yet, however I have heard wonderful things about this new insurance option. I recently had a friend who had it, and paying $30 for a screen fix vs. $175 or whatever it was is awesome. I look forward to not spending a car payment whenever it is that I need to get this done.

I haven't had this in quite awhile. I'm pretty good at taking care of my phones but since this was a new phone for me, new as I've always had the galaxy phones and wasn't sure how durable the iPhones are or how sensitive they are or how they work in general I decided to get it just to be on the safe side

This was added to my plan for my two younger children since it's likely they will be careless. So far we haven't needed it although I'm not excited about the high out of pocket cost on top of the monthly fee. Have yet to need to use it although it's a nice option to maintain the device warranty with apple.

My biggest concern about buying a new phone is the transfer of info from old device. I was happy to discover that Apple includes an easy to follow guide and there is an app for moving info from my old android to my new iPhone. Furthermore, the step-by-step set up of my new apple device was very helpful.

Apple care: well I haven't has to use it yet but i hear really good things about Apple Care. So I will see if anything happens how well the will take care of me. #more2follow. I will say though. sprints Ins plan is 11.00 and Apple care is 7.99 and I hear Apple Really does support their plan holders.

AppleCare is worth the cost (maybe it is a little high, though). I can call in for anything having to do with the phone. I was very pleased when I used it with a previous Apple product. Everybody I spoke to, with one AWFUL exception, was friendly and took whatever time it took to explain.

I got this plan for my daughters phone. With the high cost of the phones today, I felt like it was well worth the money. She is a tom boy and her phone is always with her no matter what she is doing. She has gone through more phones than both my husband and I put together. Glad to have piece of mind.

I haven't had to use my AppleCare yet, but if I do, I'll be glad that I have it. I have a tendency to be Mr. Butterfingers when it comes to holding my phone (last phone did not end well after being dropped without a case), so if and when the time comes, at least this time I'll have some backup.

AppleCare is simple to purchase and to use with a phone call or visit to an Apple Store. I love what all is included in the coverage. Even if my phone is completely broken I can replace it with AppleCare for about $100. That sounds a lot better than buying a new phone and it only cost $7.99 a month!

Apple Care is a must-have for any Apple device. Who is better qualified to service your Apple gadgets than someone trained to work specifically and solely on Apple product? The customer care provided by Apple is definitely worth the cost. I would definitely recommend this product.

I can't pretend that I am excited about using AppleCare but I am glad that it is available, and I have found it to be worth it as phone insurance. I liked having Geek Squad protection better because I feel a closer connection to BB than Apple, but this is now the insurance option.

If you have a teenager I HIGHLY recommend getting the apple care. It's $8 you do not miss each month and when they brake the phone, lose the phone or crack the screen, $29 for screen replacement is well worth not having to buy a new phone or not being able to trade it in!
