I always recommend getting Apple Care+ on any Apple device, (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, etc.) And it's very convenient through Best Buy as it works along with my Total Tech support membership. I can bring it into a Best Buy for service (which is located much closer to my home) than an Apple store.

I bought the plan for a gift. My credit card is charged monthly. I don’t have the gift and they will not cancel the charges because I don’t have the serial number on the gift. While on the phone they were able to activate my tablet and walk me through ( actual red arrow pointed to info) the process. They can do that but not stop charging me. I have three iPads and 4 iphones and I’m so mad that they claim that without the serial number I’m screwed. I had to call my bank and cancel the card so the payment will stop going through

AppleCare+ is good but BestBuy support to add/cancel AppleCare simply sucks! BestBuy overseas support department do not understand request at all - they are simply trained to keep asking information verification and also keep bouncing back and forth with various department. They even don't bother to relay your information that has already been verified. Your issue might get addressed if you are lucky! I my case I am not, after 48 hours (literally two full days) I am still dealing with BestBuy support to cancel my AppleCare+

I WOULD reconsider ALL FUTURE PURCHASES for BB-Apple/SUPPORT, and I hope ALL who read this will RECONSIDER as well. It’s was unprofessional, and unfortunately they blame you the customer. Search your nearest Apple store for more coverage programs.
