I have always added AppleCare to my Apple products, ever since I saw the difference between how Apple handled their AppleCare claims versus how other companies handled their claims. AppleCare is handled quick, easy, painless, and they are really amazing, at a time no one wants to be found at. I've seen the difference between iPhone claims, as well as MacBook Claims, it is the difference between having your laptop sitting in a back room with someone trying to figure out what's wrong with it, and trying to fix it, versus having Apple replace your laptop with the newest model.

Before I recently purchased one of the newer models of the MacBook Pro, I had been using my former MacBook Pro that I purchased in 2003. I never had any problems with that model until I was forced to have it replaced it in 2019. If that 2003 model could have been updated, I would have continued to use it. It was obviously built well. The newer models do not seem to have a long shelf life. My new 2019 model had one of the arrow keys break off within the first few months of owning it. Since I had the MacBook 3 year plan, it didn't cost me to get the keyboard fixed.

I spilled coffee on my Macbook Pro, and I took it to the local repair shop, it turned out my display was fried and it would have coust at least $800 to replace it. I suddenly remembered that I actually had AppleCare+ so I called apple and it turned out they covered liquid damage. I still had to pay $299, but that was a lot better than the $800 estimate my local guy gave me. Apple sent in a shipping box and everthing I needed. The estimated total time was 2 weeks but everything was done in just 2 days. I was so surprised. When they returned my laptop, not only they replaced the display, they replaced the entire board, and everything else except the casing. I pretty much had a new laptop a year after I originally bought it. I had a few intermittent software issues before this repair and they were all gone. Only warning is, they will wipe out the Hard Drive, so make sure to have it backed up always, which is a given for any computer anyway, but especially if you are going to have it repaired. Good thing I had mine regularly backed up using Time Machine.

AppleCare+ is essential part of any Apple product purchase for ongoing support and access to a real person to assist with all the issues that arise. AppleCare has been invaluable when I had a bad product and they replaced it with a new model at no cost. This is an excellent value.

Love my new MacBook Pro! Only wish it were a bit lighter to carry. Touch bar is cool and will use it more as I begin to develop new key stroke habits.

Definitely buy the apple care! I always make sure I pay the extra $$ to make. sure I have the full coverage insurance on all my apple products and I feel its worth it. I've has a Computer stop working on me a few years back and apple care took care of it they were not able to fix it so they replaced it with a new computer! and so much more helpful benefits when you purchase this. same for my phones always great feeling to know I have apple care if anything bad happens to my pricey apple products.

Good for coverage on Apple items. College use, You know getting banged around. Would suggest getting.

Just get Applecare For the price AppleCare is one of the best warranties that you will ever buy. They take care of your device from end to end for three years which is about the lifespan of most peoples devices. Apple will then also help you take care of your device longer. Overall if you have kids, dogs, or active lifestyle the protection that you get is worth it.

AppleCare has paid for itself. I don't know about the M1 Macbooks, but we have had many issues with the latest generation Macbooks. Applecare is the only thing that has saved us from having to repurchase a few laptops (work). On a personal note, I like to purchase AppleCare on headphones and certain Apple accessories.

always great to have just in case. More expensive than previous years but technology happens and always good to have just in case. You never know what can happen. I went to buy my MacBook Pro and apple care at Apple and they were sold out and did not know when they were getting more in. Was told to try Best Buy and they price match.

Originally I didn't want to purchase Apple Care+, but I'm glad I did my 17inch MBP died 2 months after. Due to covid I couldn't get it to an apple store, but did get into an authorized retailer.... not the best experience with a new macbook, but it works now.

I purchased Apple Care to help protect the Mac Book Pro I purchased. Apple Care is very cheap especially when your buying a high quality laptop! I bought the laptop for niece who is a freshman in high school and with the Apple Care protection plan I don’t have to worry about her accidentally hurting the laptop. My plan is for her to use this laptop until she gets to college and with the Apple Care protection plan I purchased I don’t have to worry about the laptop getting messed up until she graduates from high school. The Apple Care protection plan gives you ease of mind knowing your investment is protected for an affordable price!

My first macbook pro had the delete key stuck after less than a week of very light use. Best Buy replaced it and transferred all of my information but I thought maybe I should cover my investment long-term, especially with what Apple charges for repairs.

Superior protection for my MacBook Pro 16. There is no way that I would not protect such an investment. The price is cheap compared to what I would have to pay if not covered by a plan.

Would not be without it. Although my MacBook is quite durable, and I anticipate NO problems of any kind, having Apple Care to "fix" any unforeseen accidents gives me tremendous peace of mind.

I bought the protection for my Apple Macbook Pro 16 inch (2019). It was a no brainer since the laptop was costly. I haven't used it yet but I'm glad I have protection.

Apple provides some of the best tech support in the business (note: this is different than saying they provide great tech support - especially at the 1st level). The holds times are not usually long, and the 3rd party contractors (1st level support) do a pretty decent job of reading their scripts (and navigating the online help screens), or referring you to next level support as appropriate. On a personal note, and in my opinion, for the high prices users pay for Apple machines, Apple Care should be included. Nevertheless, whenever I've needed to the service, it seemed well worth it to have.

I learned a lesson on my last laptop when I didn’t purchase this warranty. This is worth every penny if you need it. I like having the peace of mind that my expensive investment in the laptop is covered.

Never really got use apple care + , it’s nice knowing my lab top is protected but never used it.

I have owned several macs. A few of my Apple devices have not had an AppleCare warranty. With the new Macs, I would always get an AppleCare warranty. Apple has limited what third-party repair facilities can do. I think if I had a cheaper model, I would skip apple care or any warranty, but with more expensive models it makes sense to get AppleCare. I have always had good experiences with Applecare. One thing you need to do though is keeping backups of your data. Apple doesn't help much with your data. If you send off your device, you may not see your data again.
