When one purchases AppleCare+ the product is automatically registered with Apple. Upon setup I went to the the "About This Mac" menu and found the details of how long my MacBook Pro is covered for. I have had accidents happen to my devices in the past and I like how easy it is to replace a product.

For me it's the best, It works very well and it's the hours and I haven't had any problems

DO NOT PURCHASE APPLE CARE THROUGH BEST BUY! I purchased Apple Care with my Mac Book Pro through Best Buy's website on 3/31, and one week later I realized the coverage did not reflect on my laptop or was not activated. It was such a hassle calling Best Buy because all they kept doing was transferring my call to Apple, then Apple would transfer the call back to Best Buy. Apple could not add the insurance I purchased from Best Buy because they needed my agreement number. Usually when you purchase Apple Care through a third party, they will email you a confirmation with the agreement number and a summary of the coverage. Best Buy didn't email anything except for a receipt, so I didn't have the correct information to provide to Apple; such as the agreement number/ contract number etc. All I could do was send Apple my receipt from Best Buy and file a claim. 2 weeks later, I am finally getting this resolved, THANKS TO APPLE. To save you a headache, PURCHASE YOUR COVERAGE DIRECTLY WITH APPLE! Trust me. There are so many bad reviews online about purchasing Apple Care through Best Buy (Google It.) I wish I would have seen the reviews before I made my purchase, but I didn’t see them until I had this issue. Lesson learned.

Awesome as every. Especially now that Apple offers an annual coverage as well after the 2 or 3 year warranty is gone. Very nice to cover the life of the computer now!
