    After my last experience I had with an iMac I bought used on eBay this extended warranty is a must. The former owners had replace the hard drive in the iMac themselves and did a lot of damage internally to it. They replaced the monitor, video card and other parts despite the fact that installing the hard drive yourself void the warranty. It's now working fine thanks to Apple Care.
