I purchased 3 I-Phones and also purchased 3 apple care Theft and Loss fir each phone. One of the I-Phones was stolen and Apple Care did not pay anything. They said it was because the Find My Phone feature was no on. We checked it, it was but here is your classic example of their word against mine. The they went as far as to say it was the Assurant Company who would not authorize, the the people at Assurant said it was Apple who turned us down...no more trust from me. I switched to Verizon and Asurion.
