You get what you pay for in the high-quality products. I haven't needed to use AppleCare, yet, but it's nice to know I have it.

If you purchase a product made by them, you should purchase Total Tech plan and it comes with it versus paying over $100.00 for the plan to have device repaired or replaced at local authorized Apple repair center. Also if damaged, it states two price options that applies and you can receive a new or repaired device, if screen is shattered or laptop fell into water accidentally.
