If you are going to invest hundreds or even a couple thousand dollars on an Apple product you simply have to have Apple Care +. Full stop. Apple is amazing about repairing almost anything - typically for free- providing you have Apple Care +. Trust me - I've been on the other side of not buying Apple Care + (my first MacBook) and ended up having to pay $500 to get it fixed. My next MacBook - lesson learned - I coughed up the dough for Apple Care +. I had to get the screen replaced two times - and it didn't cost me a dime. If you are a Best Buy Total member - your yearly membership of $179 practically pays for itself as it includes two years on Apple Care + on any Apple device purchased through Best Buy. Don't think about it. Just get it.

If you are trying to choose between a Macbook air and a macbook pro, and ignoring all performance differences between the models available, it is worth it to upgrade for the better screen, better speaker, and more ports. I had an m3 macbook air, and it was surprisingly good performance wise, but after trading it for an m4 pro, the couple hundred dollars difference for the items mentioned feel far worth it.

I could not be happier with this mac. Im studying for my masters degree in computer science so i needed a system that can keep up with the workload. Apple produced exactly what i needed, they really put together a solid machine that carries the power of a desktop in a small portable package.

Extra care for your investment is always a must. You never know what can happen. So the extra support is a must in my book. Get it.

16 promax is decent! Not sure the extra size is agreeing with me, no more pocket carrying. When I need extras to maintain an item I start to resist… special fanny packs, phone covers, etc…..And phones that come with all the stuff turned on that you turned off on your old phone :-/
