Relatively entertaining. I wasnt expecting much from it, but it was interesting enough to hold my attention for the entire movie. Voice acting was decent, and the art was great. more than worth the price.

I always like the appleseed story line. This is no let down. The story, graphics and sound makes for good entertainment. Watches with my grandson he love it. I would recommend this blue-ray to all!

The animation/CGI is very cool to see in this movie. There are some great action sequences and some fun characters introduced along the way. If you're thinking about picking up this movie, be sure to get the other Appleseed movies as well because you're going to be hooked!

it's too bad because i have all the other appleseed animated movies and they are all incredible works of art for both story and animation. this one, looks to be made a bit on the cheap. the animation is not as good as the others in the series and the story is not very well done. the acting with the animation is lacking. i really, wanted to like this, it's not that it's horrible, it's just far behind the others in the series. i hope they get back to their roots with the next one. the extras were ok, but, they could have been better.

Great music, graphics, action, and decent story. Just know that this is not a sequel or reboot to the original Appleseed Anime Movie. Rather it is a completely alternate introductory story. It takes the place of the original Appleseed. Still a really good movie.

This whole series of movies has been great (havent seen the show yet). The philosophical questions arent for everyone but it helps set this mythos above other modern animes.

This is a great CGI animated film with lots of action. Appleseed Alpha is a prequel to Appleseed and does a great job. If your a fan of Apple seed you need to watch this movie.

Movie was an excellent addition to the series. I think I may be behind a story but I really like this series and this one put me back on track. The Blu-ray video and audio is awesome. If you are a fan of the series you will want to add this to your collection.

I like the series but this story did not fit with the first two. The girls features did not match the previous DVDs. Also the story line was off.

over all the movie is excellent with something always happening to keep your attention, great action scene and a killer surround sound that would sound great on any system.

This is one of the best sci-fi computer animated movies I've seen. You get caught up in the story line and forget the characters are drawings. The graphics are amazing.

This was an entertaining movie with great visuals. Story was a little slow at the start but action really kicked it up a notch at the end. Overall it's a great watch.

I heard about this movie and wanted to see if it was as good as the original. It's better than the original. This movie has great action and wonderful animation.

For those fans who follow Japanese Anime, this third installation of Appleseed is a must for your collection. The graphics are flawless, the story line could be better but the action is jam packed. This is a must for your collection

This was the first Appleseed movie for me. I liked it. I wouldn't mind seeing the rest of them. Yes I would recommend this to someone who enjoys anime.

One of the best Sci/Fi Animes that I have seen this summer. Outstanding Animation and Voice acting with a really good story with a twist at the end that could very easily lead to a sequal and I really hope it does at some point.

The sequel is okay, however the storyline and graphical detail is not at the level of the original. With a 65 UHD TV and upconversion, the sequel seemed not as visually stunning and the storyline not quite as captiivating as the original. Also the main female character is not quite as 'cute' as the original. Don't think John Woo was involved in thr sequel. Still got the blu-ray DVD on sale and did'nt mind watching in once and later may watch it again

It would have been higher if I have seen anything from the Appleseed series before this movie. It was cheap on Bluray so I bought it. I liked it

I'm not a diehard fan of the original, but I enjoyed it; and, I'm glad to say Appleseed Alpha was an enjoyable prequel. If Appleseed isn't your cup of tea, you're unlikely to like Alpha, but it's not a bad film.
