While I have a soft spot for the original hand drawn version, this update is visual is still a treat for the eyes.

If you like anime then by all means check this movie out, if your not a fan then it won't change your mind. I found it entertaining.

Was surprised to find this for five dollars. Price, quality and content very good. Animation is great and I think this story more entertaining than some of the Appleseed series set after this prequel

Alpha is the second best movie in the Appleseed saga next to Deus Ex Machina. The graphics in this movie are downright amazing. It provides an interesting backstory to the world. Definitely a good choice

Ok, so the first Appleseed movie is my fave. The 2nd one was alright, but a little too Jon Woo for me. This one surprised me by how good it was. Briareos and Doonan kick butt and the plot is fantastic.

I really enjoyed this. It has some good animation and a really good soundtrack. Nice that they made a new one using the original characters and added some more backstory to the original movie.

I liked this, but I'm not overly enthralled with this film. It's a good origin film, but not one of my favorite anime.

Appleseed Alpha is a "reimagining" of at least part of the story of Deunan and Briareos BEFORE they reach Olympus. The graphics are state of the art and provide excellent images in the BluRay.

I like the CGI, the animation is acceptable, and the toybox of sci-fi goodies is even better than in the first two films .

The realistic graphics make the characters feel real & even the scenes & back ground effects. Some of the best 3d animation I've seen to day.

Loved the first one a lot better. But this one was also good, just the 1st was so darn good.

excellent story line, great graphics. If you get this movie you might as well get the other part at the same time, cause your only gonna end up paying shipping and handling twice.

This is a great movie to add to your anime collection. I watch the first movie many years ago and I needed to look back to catch up on the plot. The graphics on this movie is great.

is a great perquel to the existing story line. Deunan and Briareos are seen as they were before finding Olympus. The CG is done well and charecters are protraded as they should be

If you are a fan of the series, you will love this. Graphics are great and the movie is as good as an apple!

awesome, great visuals, wished it was a little longer though. I would love to see more. Would definitely recommend this to friends!!!!! It is a great addition to my collection.

Technology has evolve since I saw the original Appleseed. We want more of this film. Excellent collaboration between the east and the west in making this movie. Excellent Job!
