As usual the movie is not that great nor not that bad but I considered this disc as the holy grail of 4k bluray disc. This I considered the benchmark to show off your home heater system. I has the most crystal clear plus vivid color picture quality and man, the sound! It's freaking awesome! I utilized both dolby vision and dolby atmos. If you want to test how great your home theater setup is, this disc is the way to go!

Yes, this movie has hot men and women in it, but it also has a good message in it. The be a good, kind, caring, and decent human, plus, you need to have faith and confidence in yourself is a positive message. Tack in the fact they bring up problematic environmental issues we are facing, and it is even better. It has just a great storyline with great acting. The visual and special effects in this movie are astonishing. Just wow!

Even though it's not my absolute favorite DCEU (or Worlds of DC) movie, AQUAMAN is a visual blast, from start to finish. The Picture quality is sublime, with most of the film being open so you can take in the grandeur of Atlantis and the other exotic locations. The Audio is great, too. I got the steelbook, which I was hesitant at first because I'm not a fan of the comic art for live action movies, but it looks better in person.

This film surprised me. I was expecting some fun, but given the dark qualities of previous films in the DCU I wasn't sure how it would balance those elements. Well, it balanced them beautifully. Plenty of action, stunning visuals, and enough comedy to relieve the tension. I would recommend this film for 12 year olds and older; younger kids will enjoy parts, but some material may leave them confused or even a little scared.

Aquaman is back and better than ever. For the longest time Aquaman was the joke of comic book characters, all he could do was talk to fish and that was it but since he’s been revamped as someone who’s a force to be reckon with. One of the best things about this movie is that it takes some of those silly things and embraces them while introducing audiences to an improved Aquaman; Jason Mamoa pins it as the King of Atlantis

This movie is far better than expected. Should you see it, Yes. Will you like it, Yes. Is it worth buying, yes. I have just about every superhero movie mostly bought after I go to the show and see. Very few have I actually re watched at home. I have watched this once twice and with days of each other but I did not go see it at the theaters. I should have and if you have an HDR tv, you are going to love it even more.

After some outstanding movies in the past that were DC related, they been in a slump of late.. not to say all the movies were bad or anything, just not as high quality as some of the older stuff. Pretty much everything since the Dark Knight trilogy has been overly dark and depressing up to Wonder Woman and now Aquaman. Both movies have been a step up from the likes of Justice League and Batman vs Superman. With that said, DC still has a ways to go if they really want to compete with what the MCU is doing, Marvel movies are overall a lot more fun to watch, great action, decent amount of action and humor is just right.

I like this movie which makes Aquaman looks and feel like he belongs in the 21st century. I grew up watching the old cartoon and when I went back to watch some, I come to realized the Aquaman back then wasn't as cool looking as he is now. the special effect of the movie is outstanding and I love how Atlantis is represented. Action Packed and some comedy, this movie does keep you entertain and story plot wise.

I was impressed on the level of detail that seems to be almost subliminal. It takes a bit of effort to convince the viewer that all the action is taking place in an underwater world. I found myself just focusing on the engaging story and not analyzing whether the hair movement or the water had believable characteristics - it did. The action [on land] was genuinely a roller coaster ride.

In general, DC doesn't do it for me as much as Marvel (sorry, not a big Batman or Superman fan--gasp!), but this was a great exception just as was Wonder Woman. Loved the graphics, the humor, the casting. Well done. If I have to be picky, some of the score was a little odd to me and maybe a little more effort into building the Black Manta character. I hope they back develop on this in the next installments.

Aquaman is half Human and half Atlantean. Aquaman love his father when he grow up on the land of earth with his mother who is a full Atlantean. Aquaman is take to the deep ocean to discover that he was born to be king with many surprise about himself and his family that live in the ocean the have a big surprise at the end I don't want to tell you just go and buy the movie and you will be "WOW".

Aquaman the movie is a whole lot better than the Justice League (cartoon). Jason Momoa gives charisma to the earlier versions of Aquaman. My family and I love this movie, that is uncharacteristic for most families with millennials. If you like action and humor, buy this movie. Bonus, the featurettes are outrageously funny. My son has climbed with the actor and says he is... so down to earth and humble.

I collect all of these movies and this particular one, is one of my favorites. It didn’t follow the traditional super hero story line and the computer generated graphics worked very well with the story they were trying to tell. Visually, this was busy but, amusing at the same time and the audio was done well too. Overall, a good buy for a collector like me or for anyone else who grew up with aquaman...

I personally think Marvel movies are the best the movie industry offers. The quality of the production, the casting, the acting, the story lines, and the effects are beyond any other franchise including Star Wars and Star Trek. Yeah, I said that. Okay, now Aquaman. I was skeptical. I watched it. Now I own it. Enough said? It's as close as I've seen to a Marvel in a non-Marvel movie.

First off the movie was awesome! Great adventure and all around fun movie. The movie is visually entertaining with beautiful scenes and lighting. Black Manta was an awesome addition and hopefully we will see him again. The actual SteelBook is what sold me on this edition because of the art. I liked that is was totally different than the regular Blu-ray release with the often used promotional image.

I'm a geek and a nerd so naturally this type of movie is going to fit my taste. There are 1000 things wrong w this show from physics issues to poor acting, however for a comic book movie I would put it a step to step and a half behind the batman series.... which is high praise. My female coworkers have all committed with a slight dreamy look in their eye that they also "liked him" I mean the show.

I liked aquaman when I saw it in theaters. I cant understand how people aren't talking about mera like they did wonder woman and captain marvel. Sure she isnt the main character but she was well done, very powerful and had just as much screen time as aquaman did himself. I loved the steel book case, the one cavet I have about this is the digital code I was given via email was only for the 4k version which only plays on certain devices. I tried to input the code that came in the package and it didnt work. you figured they would have given you all the different digital options with the 4k, but sadly no.

This was a good release. From a film standpoint, we get a special beginning and rise, varied set-pieces and settings. The film falls a little short in the final quarter, however. Colors and contrast are good. Audio is clear. But as always, if you see the UHD for $14.99 or less, grab that. (Strictly speaking, UHD is the way to go if you have the player.) I got the blu-ray having skipped the theater release. But it turns out this is "Wonder Woman" quality, and one of the better DC entries. Plenty of action and energy. The lead is a tad vulgar at times, and that may take some getting used to.

I was just looking for a copy that was both Blueray and DVD, as we have both players in different rooms of the house. They didn't have any left except this SteelBook case. Because I was buying other things, and since I wanted to see it since I saw the previews. I bought it. Movie was Great as expected. Love the Steelbook case. It might be what I look for from now on when buying movies.

Aquaman is by far a great movie you can enjoy and watch over and over. The detailed colors of the sea and creatures, are awesome. I had to buy it in 4K just cause of the detailed colors and a great action movie. Lots of people don't know much of Aquaman, but back in the day when it was the "Superfriends", they always showed all of these characters. Those where cartoons, not what they show now.
