Item started out great but has its issues. Waiting for arcade 1up to send a new pcb board due to video cutting off issues after a few minutes (Happened 3 days after receiving it and still going through the help ticket process). There is still no online feature for mvc2 which was the main reason for purchase.

Its Gonna Take You On A Nostalgia Ride

This thing is AWSOME. This is my first arcade cabinet & Im impressed. Im 5’8 and its the perfect size. Stool wouldve been nice though because standing playing this can get tiresome. Screen is 17” but bigger then you think since we are used to widescreens, because its 4:3 so the characters are big on screen and everything clicks. The artwork is clean and beautiful all over. The game is as fun as ever but online isnt working yet. Takes 3 hours to put together. Joystick is great , buttons are good enough but if you want to get serious, they are a bit mushy for that. My full review is on YouTube but to sum it up if you have nostalgia for this game from the arcades, this is a must have.

Arrived with no damage and everything worked as expected. Setup by myself was fairly easy but would have been easier with 2 people. If you need to move it inside from where it arrives solo, be prepared as it weighs 90 lbs. and the box is quite large. Games play great so far except one glitch where I had to toggle the scanlines feature to get MvC2 to load after a power outage. Haven't had another problem since. I was pleasantly surprised that the joysticks in this cab are significantly improved from the original X-Men v Street Fighter/MvC cabinet they offered previously. They feel a lot more like my MadCatz TE2 stick, not quite as responsive but way better than before. I would still suggest replacing the buttons with HAPP or Sanwa though as the stock ones are...what you'd expect from previous A1UP cabinets.

The delivery came fast; however box was all tattered up. Fortunately most parts look fine. The game does have some glitches here and there. The volume will go up and down automatically at times. Games are very good. Just like I remember when playing as a kid.

The assembly process is not fun; in particular, attaching the left wall of the cabinet to the rest of the assembly is maddening. A word of advice: make sure the marquee is in place and place that part of the left wall first before proceeding. I didn't follow my own advice and found myself having to undo a lot of work to get it back into place. Also, attaching the riser to the rest of the cabinet by drilling directly into the beautiful artwork (there are no pre-drilled holes) really hurt my heart. I love this machine. Lots of people who know better on YouTube complain about input lag and the lack of online, but I just want to get Cyclops and Wolverine fighting side by side in X-Men vs. Street Fighter and this machine delivers. All the other games are great too.

Great game selection, MVC2 is still a gem, and online works well. The cramped control deck isn't great for two people, and had to swap the buttons out with less mushy ones.

What can I say - you can now own your very own MVC2 arcade machine in your home. My younger self playing this in the arcades would never believe it possible. Performance of the game seems great to me. I do not notice any lag, sound issues, or anything that others have complained about. I haven’t used the online yet. Others say it isn’t up and running. I really don’t care as I play local head-to-head only. One issue I do have is that the lit marquee power plug fits loosely into the board causing a poor power connection. The marquee flickers. I have secured the plug with electrical tape and it works fine.

Overall, it brings back many childhood memories I'm sharing with my kids. We mostly play the fighter games, but do enjoy playing X-Men Mutant Apocalypse with the kids as well. Took about 3 hour to put together. Instructions were clear and easy, parts labelled, and everything was packaged really nice. If you can follow basic "lego directions" and have some basic tools, should be easy to put together. Just know it will take about 3 hours or so to put together, so plan accordingly. The only disappointing thing was there was a couple of pixels in the monitor that were burnt out already creating a small black spot. Basically most people won't notice it and honestly it wasn't worth the time to disassemble it and request a new monitor, so knocking off a star for that. But otherwise, a good arcade machine that's lots of fun.

After emulating Marvel 2 and playing it in so many different ways over the years ive never been happier to play it in near true arcade fashion and I couldnt be happier with the quality and feel of this machine, the only problem I had was there was a button refusing to work but after rewiring the control board it was back to normal

Not worth the money now. If you looking to play online right now with MVC2 then hold off. The other games have online play though. The cabinet is kind of buggy. You will be playing and suddenly, you will hear the sound turn off all of sudden? Then, you have to turn it back on again. Sometimes you don't hear all the audio sounds that should be playing such as voices, music, or sound effects. This happens for all the game and not just MVC2. I personally don’t have this issue, but I heard there are heating issues. Hopefully, Arcade1up can update and fix these problems but no telling when they will. Visually the cabinet looks very nice and the graphics and screen look sharp and clear. The buttons feel kind of cheap but the stick feels good. I use the cab without and raiser and is right size for my stool. I haven’t assembled the riser, but I know it looks good. But, I rather not stand up and play or get a taller stool. To summary, this cabinet wasn’t ready to be released yet and they should had waited before doing that. If you do get the cabinet, you will have problems before they fix it

I pre-ordered and received this cabinet and from the design, look and feel of the cabinet it is perfect! Well lit marquee, beautiful color and great graphics on the cab. However there are noted issues such as random drops of volume when playing the cabinet. No online for MVC2 and technical glitches to the roms make it tough to love it for me. Great product, not perfect in the least bit.

Im a casual gamer and purchasing it is well worth. Though theres no online for mvc2 yet but i can wait for an update. Arcade itself is portable so easy to move around. Games itself plays well and have an option to have scanlines to make the games feel authentic. If you're a pro gamer, i recommend to swap up the buttons.

The cabinet itself is well made with a few small manufacturing but not noticeable imperfections here and there. Takes about 2-3 hours to assemble. Youre definitely paying a premium and Arcade 1 Up knows this. Let down by the few emulations bugs as the game is not 100% arcade perfect - for most they will be satisfied.
