I bought this to play music (Pandora) through a vintage stereo system and it works very well for that purpose. I use the Arcam on one system and a different player on a different system. Both work well but the design of the Arcam could have been thought out better. With this design there are wires coming out of the front and the back of the unit so it looks a bit messy. The button to connect the Arcam to a Bluetooth device is between 2 wires and not that easy to access. I would still recommend this to a friend because it does do what it was designed to do.
