This is a great little integrated amp. I was looking for a warmer sound to compliment my naturally brights Sonus Faber Lumina 2s . This amp has a warm and punchy sound which really balanced my speakers. 2 Ch. power is more than enough for even large towers. Every input worked flawlessly out of the box. The biggest downside, and the reason I returned the unit, is the lack of any subwoofer out. I wanted to use this for home 2ch. home theater but that couldn't be done without a subwoofer. Otherwise a fantastic sounding amp. I included a photo of the SA10 on top of the Arcam AVR11 Receiver for size.

This took me a bit to setup but it was so worth my time!
The audio the Arcam delivers is crisp like no other. There are a few tests I run my audio stuff through and that is Elvis and the Philharmonic Orchestra album which sounds like I am sitting in the recording arena with them. Then there is my dance and rock stuff which helps me run through how bass and guitar strums sound.
My next investment is a stand-alone speaker so that I can add it to the other input/output slot.
It sits beautifully on my shelf and it is very slim.
I do wish it was more versatile with an application for the Arcam. There is an application but the amp isn’t supported.
Otherwise and amazing product and a beautiful conversation peace with Super Bowl Sunday and the Half Time Show coming up!

This Arcam SA10 integrated amplifier delivers a very balanced overall sound with an excellent stereo soundstage, solid low-end bass, accurate midrange and articulate highs with clarity and detail. Excellent build quality and this integrated amp punches way above its price point and has no problem driving my 4ohm Dali Opticon bookshelf speakers or my Dynaudio floor standing speakers. This integrated amplifier is an absolute bargain at the discounted price it's selling for at Best Buy!

The Arcan SA10 is a very nice piece of equipment. So far its working out with no issues. Time will tell. I'm pushing a pair of Martin Logan speakers and a 10" woofer....volume at 40% will start to hurt your ears. Plenty of power. Clean sound. I would like to see some background lights, cannot see dials and buttons in a semi-dark room. Simple back lights shouldn't be all that difficult.

Great solid quality amp. You can feel and hear the weight of the high-current big toroidal transformer - plenty of 'oomph' in the volume and spectacular imaging.
Using with Klipsch RP600MII speakers playing FLAC files on a dedicated pc. I output the pcm signal and bypass my pc's crappy sound card to utilize the much better DAC onboard in the amp. Very pleased with the performance, my music sounds so alive again.

The Arcam SA-10 sounds great and has enough power for most home speakers. The amplifier is well built and is a bit heavy for it size. It does not have any tone controls, no bluetooth nor any direct internet connection for future updates. You have to upload the updates via the usb by using a drive. The volume doesn't reset to mute or zero if you forget to turn it down before powering off the amplifier. The home theater bypass and the illuminated remote are a good excuse to get this amplifier.

This receiver packs a punch if it is matched with the right speakers. I used it with a pair of PSB 6 ohm Stratus Mini bookshelf speakers and it sounded really good. Plenty of power for a small room, like a bedroom. Purchased this as an open box and unfortunately the remote wasn’t working properly with the receiver, and i had to return it.

Audiophile Quality!

Beautiful and warm sound. Used with a music streamer and CD transport. There is something about this Arcam SA10 that is so warm and detailed. The vocals and instrumentation felt like they were projecting into the room. Plenty of power! It drives Quad Z4 speakers with ease. Overall, a good Audiophile integrated amplifier.

This is my first "audiophile" receiver and have grown to appreciate the low distortion produced by this amplifier. Clear audio and after doing a before/after comparison with a few songs, there was a substantial difference in the quality of the audio coming from my old receiver and the ARCAM amplifier using an Onkyo C-7030 via optical and by digital coax.
If you're looking for something that inflates bass, this is not the receiver you are looking for. There are no bass or treble controls... which is perfect for me since I typically listen with flat settings. Also, because this is an amplifier and not a surround receiver, it doesn't have a separate out for a subwoofer. Initially I wasn't sure about this, but when I connected the subwoofer as a pass-thru (don't know what the technical term is), it was interesting as to how well I could dial in the balance between sub and my tower speakers. I get clean bass without blowing the room out (I know, sometimes that's the goal but you'd have to set the crossover for all bass).
If you're looking for a lower end audiophile amplifier to enhance your listening experience where "soundstage" and source isolation using 2 speakers and a sub is your thing, this was perfect for me and highly recommend. If you're looking for THX-blow-the-roof-off-the-room-with-bass-to-the-max... look somewhere else because you'll definitely not be happy with this unit.

Good build quality. Better to pair with small speakers such as 5 in bookshelf. Not ideal with bigger speakers.

Returned - mislabeled product/false advertisement

I purchased this Acram Amp, openbox with Excellent condition. The definition/excellent condition means the product is mint or almost new (originalbox and no missing part, no scratches); however, it was pakaged in a clear wrap (no original box), no power code, missing antenna/parts.. and a few small dents/scratches. I'd consider the condition as "fair" at best or used condition. I wasted good 40 mins driving back and forth and another 10 mins waiting in the line. I asked the store manager about the incorrect condition/false advertisement and received no explanation. At least, I was able to return immediately.

These are underpowered that the specs say. Distortion is low and sound is great though
