"Archer Vice" season 5 was the best yet. Season 5 neatly tied up the various story lines established in seasons 1 - 4, and set Archer, Mallory, Lana, Cyril, Pam, Cheryl, Ray & Dr. Krieger on solid footing to begin Season 6... which, happily (!) premiered last Thursday (01/08) night! I hope FX will continue Archer for at least 3 - 4 more years.

The fifth season of Archer flips our favorite group of dysfunctional secret agents on their heads as the International Secret Intelligence Service is dissolved by the United States government. As the gang contemplates their next career moves, they stumble upon a massive quantity of cocaine in the headquarters vault and decide to become drug dealers. As always, hilarity ensues as the gang haphazardly tries to get the job done. Changing the status quo was refreshing as the same routine can get stale. If I had to gripe about anything, I'd say I was bothered by the inconsistencies in the writing continuity. Archer and Pam have an established sexual relationship that somehow seems to have been forgotten, Cheryl isn't the usual glue-sniffing ditz she has been and a few times delivers some of the most observant and clear lines of dialog. These are definitely not huge issues and fans of the show will love this season regardless of a few dropped bits.

Archer is the funniest adult cartoon you'll ever see. Certainly not for anyone's children. Off the wall comedy, great animation. Visually stunning, very well produced. Excellent writing, very creative. All the voice actors are extremely unique, no lame characters. If you enjoy comedic cartoons, aren't offended by strong language, profanity, and adult situations then you're really enjoy Archer.

Archer Vice turned out to be so much better than I had thought it would be. Changing up a winning formula makes me a bit uneasy, but this time it paid off. Smart and very funny. You will find yourself using phrases from the show in random conversations. The only negative I have for the dvd was the extras. Not all that great. However the episodes are indeed great and ease the disappointment.

The jokes keep on coming (phrasing!!) in the fifth season of Archer. Highly recommend it for true Archer fans. If you have never seen Archer, I would not start with this season, as you will lose out on the entire story as to why they are in their current situation. I suggest binge watching the first four seasons on Netflix then you can appreciate the story and jokes to the max.

Season 5, or Archer Vice, as it was known, saw a lot of changes for the team at International Secret Intelligence Service. They were disavowed by the CIA, lost their NY office, decided to get into the drug/country music business. All while Lana was pregnant with Archer's baby. Essential viewing.

Archer season 5 is a little different then the others. It is still great writing and funny adult humor. The difference in the circumstance is that ISIS has been disbanded. Archer and the rest try there hand at being drug dealers, destruction and chaos in sue. Overall just good fun and a good watch.

I am still a big fan of the series. Every season just keeps getting better & better. My only complaint is the lack of episodes. They only do 10 shows a season now, what a bunch of slackers. Anyway, the writing is still top notch in this adult cartoon. This is not for kids, this is not Disney, this is for a teenager at the minimum. This season just was another classic in the whole Archer empire, those that love it know what i mean.

This season takes a different turn than the ones before it and is still great!!! Unfortunate about the naming of their outfit, but it was done BEFORE the real life individuals used the title...you either know what I am talking about or will know when you watch this awesome show!!!

Archer and the team is at it again but this time Miami Vice style! It's funny to see the gang trying to do another occupation(s) other than their norm. But the parodies of Smokey and the Bandit, Private Eyes and Spies themes were great throughout the season.

Starting with a bit of a shake-up to the series formula, this season of Archer continues the run of quick fire quips and witty dialogue, ridiculous farcical situations and action movie tropes. The show is as good as ever, if not better. While the blu-ray special features feel a little lacking, the image and sound quality are satisfying, giving great presentation to the main presentation, well worth watching.

With Archer and the gang getting out of the spy business and into the cocaine smuggling business things got way out of hand. Pam had problems with eating up the product. The mayhem of trying to sell the stuff and not get ripped off and make profit was hilarious.

This is season 5, so it just keeps getting better. As a fan, i would not really say any season is better than the previous. I have found they just keep rolling along. Sorry, butt not everybody gets the humor, butt if they are an Archer fan, they will enjoy this!

While it's still pretty entertaining, and I'm sure the creators needed a break from the usual formula, this season feels... well, a bit less sharp than in previous ones. Some of the comedy falls flat in places, and the setting wears out its charm as it goes along. I still recommend watching it, but just know things will get better once you get to Season Six.

Archer season five really kicks things up for the show by changing gears completely and flipping the nature of the show from a comedic spy thriller and taking it into the neighborhood of '80s favorite Miami Vice. Hilarious stuff and well worth a look.

A lot of "fans" didn't like this season because of the new format. I am a die hard fan from the beginning and I feel that this is the best season yet. Lots of great story lines and guest stars really make this season a riot from start to finish.

All the character actors have the most amazing chemistry. I love the banter the best. They all have moments of such subtle hilarity that you'll be hooked from the first episode.

Archer isn't for everyone, and definitely not for kids, but for some hilarious adult humor, Archer is hard to beat. James Bond meets Walter Mitty for those who have never seen the show. This season continues the humor.
