    bought for bedroom, room is not all that large , air conditioner struggles to keep room cool on even moderately warm days. is also quite noisy for its size.

    This was listed as an energy star certified product. I paid extra for it to get that certification. Similarly sized non energy star units could be found $40-$60 cheaper. Not worth the price. Works ok for what it is but is a very basic bottom of the line item.
