I will confess this year we haven't had many 100 degree days mostly 98's but my old one just was cutting it. I also like all the modes and the clean filter alert as we live in a rural area and they clog up fast. I liked it so much and it was cheap I bought one two weeks later for an elderly friend who's air conditioner wasn't working well.
