It was in great condition and sounded great on my turntable.

The pressing quality is solid: flat vinyl, low surface noise, and a clean playback from start to finish. The cover art also looks fantastic, keeping the classic design that makes this album instantly recognizable.
If you enjoy rock, blues, psychedelia, or simply want one of the most influential albums of all time in your collection, this LP is absolutely essential. It’s a masterpiece that sounds even better the way it was originally meant to be heard — on vinyl.

Are You Experienced? shows Jimi Hendrix’s genius as a guitarist, songwriter, and visionary. He blends rock, blues, soul, and psychedelia into a stunning sonic experience that defies conventions and expectations. From the explosive “Purple Haze” to the cosmic “Third Stone from the Sun”, this album is a masterpiece of innovation and expression.

This album sounds great on vinyl and is a must for any Hendrix fan. It is actually a must for any fan of 60s and 70s music. The version reviewed here is the US version, which is a better version than the UK version. The US version omits "Red House", "Remember", and "Can You See Me" and replaces them with arguably the best three Hendrix songs, "Hey Joe', "The Wind Cries Mary" and the opener, and perhaps his most recognizable song, "Purple Haze". I have the cd version, but the instruments really jump out on vinyl.

Incredible album at an incredible value.
If you’re into vinyl, you know that many albums are pressed from digital mastering and often the quality control is mediocre at best. To find an AAA pressing of an incredible album and pressed at QRP for $15 is unbelievable.

This is my favorite Hendrix album and the record quality is excellent. For $16 you get a great classic packaged nicely. It comes with a quality plastic inner sleeve so there is very little debris on the record. This is worth it without a doubt.

I first listened to this back in 1990 and felt like I was conjuring something alien in my Walkman. Now I get to experience (pun intended) this the way it was supposed to be on vinyl. Hey, it's the reason why you would ever want to learn how to play a dominant seventh sharp ninth chord in the first place. All right here.

Remastered copy of Hendrix classic. A good friend of mine had this record when we were teenagers. I never owned it before. It sounded great on my mid 70s hi fi system!

Just got back into vinyl and I’ve always wanted a Jimmy Hendricks album. This was my first to add to my collection and I was blown away! This pressing sounds awesome! I definitely recommend buying it. You won’t be disappointed.

Anyone looking to buy this knows that the music itself is excellent. The question is whether this pressing is any good. The definitive answer is a resounding YES! Great feel at 180g, and the sound remaster is excellent. Buy this record now, at this amazing price.
If you’re debut LP is still on shelves 40 years on

It must be worth owning. Would be cooler if it were a 180g - but the songs are there, that’s all that matters.. not one bad song.. all have long ago reached legendary status. You can’t be a guitar player without knowing these jams.

This was one of the first albums I bought back in the 60's. It still is great to listen to today. Vinyl has the best sound and I hear things today on this album that takes me back to my youth. If you like Jimi this is the album to get!
