Serves as a great additional base station

I needed a second base station, to be closer to some of my Arlo Pro 3 cams. This works just as well as the Smart Hub that came with them, including the local USB recording. It's also sort of nice to be able to arm the base stations separately, in case there's extra activity in either area.

Replaced Base Station

I deleted the older base station than typed in the new information for the new base station. Then, got my Arlo cameras close to the base station and sync each camera. . Everything worked, it was that easy

Good Base

I do find it very slow at communicating with my arlo cams. Sometimes it take a whole minute to start viewing live. I have a very fast internet. If you want good, responsive and dependable security, get a wired surveillance system.

Works as Advertised.

The setup was a bit of a challenge, but everything is working well now. One other point: the new camera, with a solar panel to keep them charged, removes "battery anxiety" and I would recommend that eveyone pay the extra $$ and go this route.
