    This was a perfectly satisfactory wireless camera system. The app can be a little wonky when you first start, but since then it has been wonderful.

    I bought 2 sets of 4 cameras. 4 for inside the house and 4 for the exterior. I enjoyed these cameras while they lasted. Video quality was decent and didn’t have many issues besides 2 of the 8 cameras no longer want to turn on anymore. After attempting to charge the cameras for several hours I am unable to power them on no matter what I do. It’s unfortunate that these cameras only last 1 year 1 month. Now I see why Arlo only gives you a 1 year warranty on their products. It’s because it’s not quality enough for them to trust their own brand to last outside of the 1 year warranty. I will never purchase an Arlo product again. I will pay a little more and get something that lasts longer. Very disappointed.

    We are loving our extra home protection option of wireless security monitoring system with solar option. We purchased 3 and posted them on our three main points of our house. It has video, photo, audio, talk back, and siren alert which you can slarm and it is very loud and will detour animals, thieves, etc. I am a verified Best Buy customer Cbglorified

    Needs subscription after the free 3 months trial. Or you can use the arlo hub with usb if you dont want a subscription plan with arlo. But every time you review the videos, you need to eject the usb from the hub and insert it in a loptop. I just put it on side of the house were minimal activity is. The light is not that great if your after for it instead get the arlo pro floodlight 3 which also needs subscription after the free trial period. Unlike the old model of arlo which comes with free cloud storage.

    No Base Station Needed

    I have six of the original Arlo cameras around the house that are connected to a Base Station. Was interested in this latest offering from Arlo because it is Wi-Fi enabled. Set-up with my home wi-fi was very easy. The camera is aimed at my pond to capture wildlife at night time. I love that I can now see visitors in color with the spotlight camera. The range of quality light is at least 15 feet, maybe a bit more. Just understand that this is not a floodlight. For my needs, it exceeds expectations.

    Night picture looks real good it has color . Set was quick. I have other arlo cameras too. It also has a spot light too.

    I’ve always wanted to have security cameras installed and we finally bought this and the Arlo doorbell after postponing for 2 years. So glad we found this at Bestbuy as it had good reviews overall without breaking the bank. I’m a woman and not technical, but I was able to replace our wired doorbell with our new Arlo doorbell and the 3 security cameras around the house by just following the instructions. We can now watch the front and back of the house as well as in my garden area. It’s fun to see which animals visit the garden. Overall it’s Great camera, so easy to setup, and we are so pleased with our purchase.

    The best cameras I have purchase. They have a great video quality and movement detector. The audio quality is amazing saves videos for up to 30 days. They have an alarm and an emergency system for call a friend or call 911. I’m really satisfied with my purchase I highly recommend this product.

    The cameras were a pain to set up. Everything I looked up online, seemed like a lot of people had the same issue that needed to be resolved by contacting Arlo support. I have to say there support team have great customer service, but I have not been happy with the product at all. After days and many attempts to get working, I finally got it to work. I leave town and a day later the cameras are offline. The solution was I needed to do something with the cameras which I couldn’t because I was away. Well, those cameras became pointless during trip. Maybe they work better some others and what they are using them for, but for me they weren’t a good product. I will try something else.

    Only problem is sometimes it’s delayed and not adding up with the other cameras also do not waist your money on the solar panel chargers don’t charge up enough

    Requires a VERY robust 2.4 ghz connection. Once we got that, the connection was stable. The newest issue is that it stopped recording even though the light comes on when motion is detected. I can see the live view but nothing records. We've talked with service and did all they asked and it still has issues unless we check every single day and restart them when we notice its happening again. We will never buy Arlo again and have steered people away. Of course all this happens outside of warranty. Once the rest of the cameras stop working, we're switching to a better brand.
