    Three months after owning this system I have had nothing but issues. This is JUNK.

    Amazing! New firmware updates fixed all issues

    I was really disappointed about these expensive camera. I got a lot of issues such as “The device failed to connect”, “Audio playing in the background, no picture”. After removed battery and re-sync the camera didn’t fix the issues. I was waiting and waiting for firmware updates. But Netgear took forever. I posted up on Craigslist and OfferUp to selling the camera. Luckily, no one buy the camera. I checked on Apple App for Arlo and I saw new App update released on October 18, 2018. I have to say new app version, base firmware, and camera firmware updates fixed issues. Arlo camera are working like a champ. Now I can say these expensive Arlo Pro 2 is worth it.

    Satisfied after 3 months use - only a few issues.

    Picture quality is good. Wide angle viewing is good. Night vision is good. Needs improvement in both the microphone and speaker sound quality and volume. When I try to speak over the system to someone standing in front of the camera, they sometimes cannot hear me. Other times, I cannot hear them at all. Otherwise, I would have given a 5 star review. Arlo really needs to fix this issue. I've had a couple of issues getting the live feed to open on my cell phone, but 98% of the time I have had no issues getting it to open. There have been a couple of times, I've had to log back into the system from scratch, to get the live feed. Other times, I've blamed it on Internet signal strength and reception, but I've eventually gotten the live feed within a couple of tries from my phone when having problems. I have noticed a 2 to 5 second delay in camera feed and live action. Other than that, I'm pleased with the system I purchased. I'm concerned, based on previous reviewer's comments, that after 7 months use, I may want to downgrade my current, 4 star rating. I think the key here is to have a fast processor speed in your cell phone, good Internet signal strength and reception, and maybe delete files you don't need because they may be causing a timeout issue when trying to open the Arlo account? Like I said before, 8 out of 10 times, I've had no issues opening to live camera feed from my cell phone, but I have had occasional issues saying I'm not online or the device is not active when it is. Logging off and back on or finding a better Internet signal has resolved the issue.

    There is a complete lack of customer/technical support. I have been trying to contact them for months. Now that I am out of the ONE YEAR warranty it specifies that I ONLY have access to the self service tools. This is absolutely crazy for a company to make you pay for a subscription just to be able to speak to a human being. I am disgusted with arlo and will not recommend at all to anyone. I wish I took the advice and went with another company. These cameras are always having issues. For the battery, try all different cords all different bricks and you have to sit there and watch the battery level and make sure it is actually going up. If not then the next cord and so on. The original does not work for mine. I have done everything recommended and my issue is the camera going off 3 times every minute recording 10-12 second videos. I have to turn my cameras off all day long which is when I need them not being home. But if you don’t want to ever be able to get support from the company who makes the product then this is for you. I am putting this review out in hopes that it will help someone like me realize that the headaches these cameras will cause is not worth it for the money spent.

    This system was great for the first 7 months. After that, nothing but problems. Cameras and base station are constantly offline. After 27 tickets with Netgear, they replaced 1 camera and the charger. Biggest waste of money.....

    Wasn’t but 5 days after buying this cameras we caught a burglar on our front porch. Highly recommend this camera.
