We got these when we had a neighbor causing us problems. Someone let their dog do their business; 15 feet from the sidewalk in the middle of our yard next to our driveway in the grass under our car doors. We have both (at different times) different days stepped in it when we were getting in and out of our car. Like they say and armed (with a camera) society is a polite society. The guilty party must have seen us installing the camera. Now that’s not happening anymore so far.

Got this as a black friday deal and feel pretty good about what I got for my money.

I had an Arlo Pro camera for about a year and decided to add a Pro 2 for the CVR (continuous video recording). If you are using Arlo without CVR, it works well. If you plan on using CVR prepare to roll the dice, which is not something you want to do with video security. For myself, and many others, CVR just doesn't work properly. The recording timeline will not function correctly. The software will say there is motion at a certain time, but when checked there will be nothing recorded. The odd thing is you can watch the live video feed and see exactly what's happening, like a person walking buy or a vehicle pulling into the driveway, but once you go back to the timeline and check the time of the recording, nothing exists. Support has been a joke on this issue. They say they are working on a fix but it's been months with no solution. As a reminder, CVR is a paid service so while I waited for a solution I was still being charged Ihave to say stay away from this product if you plan on using CVR. I ended up getting a Nest camera system instead and it's been rock solid. Unfortunately I waited too long to try CVR with the Arlo Pro 2 so I was outside of my return time frame. I hope this review helps prevent others from losing hundreds of dollars on a product that does not function as advertised.

I have installed 2 of these up front where I had version 1 - "the Pro". I have them installed with the rechargeable battery but also with the accessory long outdoor USB power cable so they always have power and the battery is used only if the power fails. This is saving me the cost of frequent battery changes and times when the camera was dead because of dead batteries. I also like the microphone feature and the improved pciture quality.

Very good camera to provide safety and security for your property at all time. The picture is very clear.

We are very happy with Arlo, we also have lower end camera's and they aren't as good.

Seems so much better built than the competition. No ongoing fees. I think they have a hardware issues. I had troubles with one of my cameras not charging. Read other peoples complaints about the same issues. if this is an ongoing problem, they should honor it in a warranty. I have a five camera system and one of my cameras gave me problems from the beginning. I finally bought a replacement. I wish the 4K camera was compatible with the 1080 system.

This camera works great and has great clarity. Has notifications and a library when recording.

Love these cameras and they were very easy to install!!!! The software is excellent!!!

Works as intended. A little slow to bring up live feed but overall quality is not bad for a WiFi camera.

I added a camera to the system I already had at home. It was easy to setup and works like the other cameras.
