Not worth the money. While the picture quality is great, it is almost impossible to position the required base in an area to ensure a good signal for the cameras. Arlo's suggestion is to buy another $150 base and wifi extender.
The lag time from getting an alert to being able to see the live stream is way too long (even with 1gb internet). If there was a real security issue the event could be over before you can get a chance to review the feed.

Had to upgrade my Arlo cameras as my old ones were End Of Life by Arlo. The video quality of these is very good!!!
Only negative is that the WiFi is not as good as my old Arlo Pros. Constantly losing WiFi signals even though they are in the same place my old ones were.

Cameras work great everything seems to be going good only thing is I found it a little hassle that the cameras dont completely like detach to the mount. They kind of do but not all the way so if your trying to not use the security mount and just use a magnetic one for convenience, you cant. Unless I just can figure that out yet. Other than that picture to the point and clear

Note: if you don't care about manually recording in 4K, this is a decent setup.
You cannot record manually in 4K, and it took me multiple support calls for someone to eventually tell me this. They had me check my network, enable/disable settings, restart devices, etc. and all along they knew the answer - YOU CANNOT RECORD IN 4K MANUALLY. It really annoyed me that the support staff couldn't/wouldn't answer this question without the song and dance. Truth be told, this limitation should be MUCH clearer in the manual (which this kit doesn't come with).
You can record motion capture video in 4K. You can keep recordings locally. You just cannot do this manually.
This will be going back to Best Buy as soon as possible.

I have to say that I was little bit skeptical at first but I have to admit that I 100% satisfied with my decision to pick this brand. At first we were torn between the RING system and the Arlo system but in the end I read many reviews and did my homework before I made the decision to pick the Arlo system. Great quality, ease of use with the app and great quality video.

So fair the best cameras I’ve ever put my hands on easily installed within 30 mins, the response on the cameras are amazing easy to work with the app, I bought the ( 4k ultra 2 ) and it is actually 4k !

They work great, easy set up, and love that the batteries are removable for charging. They do get some weird artifacts sometimes and response time to go live is slow especially if they are triggered.

I though this package had the base with it. Someone in the store told us the difference in the package compared with another one that did have a base was the quality of the camera. We should have seen that it didn't have a base but didn't until we got home. Best Buy was nice about the return but we wasted time.

I read a lot of great things about this system. We purchased it and did not like that the cameras lasted only 48 hour before we had to charge the camera again. It was frustrating. We are a prior Arlo owner and we are disappointed because we loved the first generation cameras.
Quality of the cameras were great though.

Good part: The app is good, battery life.
Cons: Needs to pick up better distance, clearer pictures on faces. Needs better night vision without light coming on. Positioning camera needs to be easier. The little screw thing is a pain to work with.

Very happy with the system, easy to use and uninstall the batteries when they are low. Our Geek Squad person recommended solar panels so I wouldn't have to worry about them and we got those installed so now I don't have to worry about charging the batteries

Excellent system. I can check in my house from overseas anytime. These cameras are awesome. The light in on each individual camera is a plus. It actually lights up a a pretty good coverage of the area the cam is at. I would recommend these cameras I’m about to get a couple of add in cams for total of 5 cams

Very good. Nice and clear. it hooks up to Alexa also which is nice so I can view it on TV monitors. Their service people are pretty good able to walk you through any trouble shade shooting that needs to happen.
