The water left a moldy musty smell and yellow stains on the rug. This product eliminated odors and the yellow is gone. Make sure you use a heavy scrubbing brush to really work product into the carpet then vaccuum.

Wonderful for getting out hard stains

Great for freshening up your carpet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not feel that it helped for any stains in my carpet but it did freshen up the carpet to such an extent that it actually looked and smelled like it had been steam cleaned. I would use this sparingly once a month to freshen up my carpets.

Not Great, Not Terrible
