I didn't have high expectations for this game, but I'm actually enjoying it! Although I feel as though you have to play using the motion controls to appreciate the game as it's intended, I find myself confined to playing on the switch display using the controllers in a non-motion fashion. That said, it kind of dimishes the experience a little bit, but is conducive to flying through grand prix. That said, overall, I'm happy with the game play and graphical style. I think the motion controls could use to be a little more accurate, but I've only put in a few hours so far, so I'm not sure if my accuracy will improve with practice. I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for some quirky arcade-style boxing. Sounds very niche, but I know there are a lot of you out there ;)

This game is actually pretty awesome. The only downside for me is that there are not a lot of characters. Off the top of my head, I believe there are only like 9 or 10. I just started playing, so I don't recall an option to unlock new characters. I'll update later if I see a change.

I had high hopes for this game. I was hoping it would be a quirky Splatoon-like game for the fighting genre, but I really couldn't get into it. There's nothing glaringly wrong with it, it just didn't really grab me. If there was any barrier to entry, I guess it would be the controls. I'm lukewarm on the motion controls, and I didn't adjust to the regular controls very quickly. Still, if you wanted to put in the work to git gud, I think there's some fun to be had here.

Fun to play. Better with 2 players. Good graphics.

My son saw this on TV and had to have it. Wow, it is a lot of fun and very funny. It is good exercise, but really don't notice as you use your funky punches to try to knock out the other player. Maybe not good that it is so fun to punch out my son, but we love it!

This game is REALLY fun with friends, and is easy to learn. Great for parties. The problem is, it's not that fun playing against the AI. So, like many switch games, this is a friends-or-nothing kind of game. All the same, I like it and think it's worth the money.

My eleven and eight year olds love this game. It's a game they can play together against the computer.

Great game for all ages. A bit of a work out as well! So many different ways to play and the variety of difficulty levels that can be set per user makes it competitive even if you are playing against your little kids! This is a must have game for the Switch!

I had been waiting for this to go on sale digitally. Finally, it did, and I purchased it. The game is fun and has had significant improvements since its launch. Sadly there is no more content planned, but I recommend it, especially on sale.

Always loved EA’s fight night series but never came out for Nintendo. Granted this is nothing like it, but just as fun. Great motion controls; I never feel like I’m battling the controllers. Nice selection of players with strategy from fighter sizes to glove powers. Like most Nintendo multiplayer games, pretty much fun throughout. Sometimes miss more realistic type boxers but still have a great time with this one. Also has great time waster games outside of main 1on1 type. Volleyball is my favorite.

My son absolutely loves this game. It is his favorite game for Nintendo switch. The gameplay modes, the joy-con move controllers use for moves actually makes him and of course his father (me) break some sweat. It's a good exercise for both of us.

ARMS is a great example of Nintendo in its creative prime by offering a new take on a simple idea, boxing. Characters are fun and offer a level of detail not seen in most games today. It would be safe to compare the cast with the same quality of the Overwatch crew. The fighting is fun for both the motion control and traditional control options. My reason for a star dock is that the total package is a little slim for a full priced game. More mini games, levels, modes and characters would be a great touch. That being said, Nintendo has stated they will be offering free updates with new characters and other content after launch which could help with this issue.

Arms is a pretty well balanced game with tons of stuff to do. You can go through a championship, single matches, practice, and even something similar to mini games! It was worth the wait and is a very good party game to play against friends.

Very fun game. Takes some getting used to and the controls aren't always as precise as I'd like (although that may be user error), but it is a blast to play with friends. Even the other game modes, while simple, offer up some nice variety. Plus, the character designs are great.

I loved this game when we first got it. Fun local and online multiplayer, and it seems that Nintendo is continuing to support the game with events that keep me coming back. Great to play with friends crowded around a tv, especially.

I didn't think Arms would be a Nintendo hit when I first heard about it. I was wrong. This game is such a refreshing change for a fighting game. It is very polished. The visuals, sound, and gameplay is very polished, like almost every Nintendo developed game. I wish there was more of a single story mode, but the different local and network modes provided are very good. While the motion control is fun for a little while, I prefer using traditional stick controls. If you like punch out, you will probably like this game with a 3d twist to it.

Arms is a refreshing take on the fighting game that has many unique features to set itself apart without being overwhelming. There is surprising amount of depth and has features to encourage both party play and competitive online play. The gameplay is intuitive enough to pick up and play with friends but deep enough that getting good at the game is worth the time. Characters are interesting and unique with each having their own special abilities to give them clearly defined strengths and weaknesses. Overall a very good buy.

Great characters, fun gameplay, tight controls( i havent tried the motion controls), and no performance issues. I'm sure as more content is added it will be even better.
